Build quality from Makita makes these batteries way more cost effective.
I have bought copy batteries for my Makita tools in the past, but that has worked out to be false economy as they have all failed.It wasn't the cells, as they were all brand names, it was poor build quality and the BMS failing.However buying these 5 amp hour Makita batteries has proven to be well worth the extra money. I use them in 36 V mower, strimmer and hedge cutter, as well as all my hand held power tools.Great run time, mows front and back lawns (front lawn quite large) on single charge with power to spare.
