The Truth
Chewy.com wouldn’t post this review, so I’ll post it here:This product and its packaging could not be any more misleading. The image on the front evokes the look and feel of the Great Plains in the U.S. The summary on the back further suggests that the product is made from American buffalo sourced in the U.S. Even the name “Buffalo Range” suggests a U.S. sourced product. Nope!“In a place where healthier is just as important as tastier” and “[o]ut here, we only use 100% grass-fed buffalo” does not mean American buffalo roaming the Great Plains, it means water buffalo trundling around Southeast Asia; specifically, Cambodia. Of course, you have to purchase the product and turn over the package to learn this.Shame on Chewy.com for selling such a misleading product and shame on them doubly for not posting my earlier reviews about the product. Your customers have a right to know these things!

Not the same Quality as before. Wouldnt recommend getting this
Back in april was the last time I bought this because demand was high but when I resubscribed to this one I was hoping for the same quality as before but they arent. They are thinner and very little to no buffalo. My dog loves this brand which is hard for me to say because she is extremely picky. But she loves the buffalo more than the rawhide. She is so smart she eats around the rawhide and eats the buffalo. There isnt enough of the buffalo in these sticks. The kabobs would be the most ive seen in this brand but what your getting for the price isnt matching. So I might have to stick with the kabobs while I search for new treats.

most of the twists are filled only partially, or even not filled with meat at all
It was a very good product when it first appeared on the market. However, now, after only a few months, everything is not as described - there is very little meat, most of the twists are filled only partially, or even not filled with meat at all.

All Natural- What could be better??
These are fantastic. Both my dogs love them and I get the added pleasure of knowing that they are100% natural. One of my dogs get such a kick out of tossing his stick about for hours before settling down and chewing it and other one guards hers for a few days and then chews it up. They are strange puppies. But, they are healthy puppies. Thank you Out International.

but they always like these over some more expensive cheiwies
I buy these with the Buffalo Range 'braids' for my 3 boxers, ranging from 50-75 lbs...they can be very picky, but they always like these over some more expensive cheiwies...I buy these sticks and the braids for some reasonable chewies not made in China...this is my 'go to' daily chew for them since they don't scarf them down in 30 seconds, and they still like them as a pretty good priced treat!

Picky basset mix approves
My basset heeler is five months old. She is a picky eater to the point of driving me crazy. A friend at the dog park gave her a treat similar to this, but made in China. I wanted a treat made in the USA and this treat was certainly worth a try. Buffalo sounded interesting, the treat was made here and the price was excellent. I'm happy to report that her heinous likes these treats very much. I ordered a second bag and so hope Buffalo Range treats remain on Amazon for years to come. I will be trying their other treats soon.

I do not recommend for dogs with a sensitive GI tract
I do not recommend these treats for any dogs with a sensitive GI tract (digestive system). I gave some to my two yorkies and they had GI upset for about two weeks. I took them to the vet, they said rawhide treats often do that to dogs with sensitive stomachs, no matter how digestible they claim to be. It took days of antibiotics and stomach settling prescriptions to get them back to normal. I dont recommend these treats for dogs with sensitive stomachs.

His current favorite chewy treat
My dog LOVES to chew, and these are perfect for him. One can last up to 30 minutes, but the first time I gave him one he scarfed it down in almost 10 minutes cause he loved it so much. I think I'll try the braids next time and see how long they last. These are low in fat and made with wholesome ingredients, so i dont feel guilty giving him 2 in one day when i need to keep him occupied. Great value as well.
