It Broke While my kids were in it! UPDATE: It broke again!!!!
I don't think they have a good design for attaching the rope to the Eye Bolt, it snapped and my girls fell out of the swing. Fortunately we weren't swinging it at the time. I would not buy this item with this kind of design flaw.Update: They refused to give me a refund and they sent me a replacement part. I replaced it, and the same part broke again!! Two times it too many, especially considering children are playing on this and could be seriously injured. DO NOT BUY THIS SWING.

Swing broke and dropped child to the ground
This swing was purchased Mar 25, 2019 and was hung in mid May using the additional swing hanging kit which was purchased for extra security and safety. The frame of the swing attaches to three straps which then connect to the main strap suspending the swing from the tree. These connecting straps/ropes appear to simply be heat sealed together, they are not woven or wrapped with anything to secure them. Today, after less than 8 weeks of use one of the three connecting ropes/straps broke where it was "tied together". Mid swing it broke and allowed a 50 lb child to drop to the ground. Rated for up to 800 lbs, a child of 50 lbs should put little wear and tear on this swing and most certainly not after being newly installed. This design flaw is dangerous and should be addressed. While the swing is great fun and easily installed, this safety issue could cause serious injury if it allowed the rider to fall from the highest point of the arc of the swing depending on how high the branch it's hung from. Waiting to hear back about manufacturers warranty.

Tips on putting this monster together:
As so many other customers have noted, the directions are almost worthless. It took me almost two hours but I did finally put this together myself (and I am a grandmother and not very big, but persistent). Here are some tips - 1. Do not put any of the pieces totally together at first, but get them at least started going together. This was hard to do. 2. Do it on grass if possible; not only will that keep you from scuffing the ropes, but the grass gives you a little more flexibility. 3. When the four parts were vaguely together, I stepped on the edges to spread them a little and tried to work them all so they were more together. Then I stood it on end, kept turning and pushing down on the pieces. 4. OK, so then they went together too much and I couldn't get the screw hooks in them. 4. I used three flat-head screwdrivers - small, medium, large - to pry them apart enough to get the screw hooks in. I stood the entire piece on end for the next part, but it might be easier to leave it on the ground. Work from the bottom, push the small screwdriver in enough to force the pieces apart. Still holding the small screwdriver, put the medium screwdriver in on top and force them further apart. Then use the large screwdriver on the bottom to really get them lined up and put the screw hook in. I had to kind of hammer it in on two of the connections. This all took a lot of coordination to have everything where I needed it - keep the screwdrivers in your pockets and somehow keep the screw hook accessible. This may all make sense when you are putting it together. And remember that grass - try really hard not to drop any of the nuts or washers in it!I think my grandkids will love this. It hangs pretty low to the ground so I might try to figure out how to shorten the ropes so it hangs just a little higher.

GET THIS
You need this in your life. If you have a tree, get it. If you don't, get a tree and get it. (or get something with horizontal beam to attach this to). Everyone I know loves this. Grandma, other grandma, son, brother in laws, loving wife, angry wife, old dog, fat and lazy cats, occasional birds/squirrels...even me. I wish these were around when I was young. Make sure you get a swing swivel so you can spin until you barf, then make the next person barf. One word of caution, when you put the ring together, watch the placement of any high value hand skin. The action of the two pieces coming together will remove a nice C-shaped section of flesh and you will leak quite a bit of 4 letter words. YMMV

ASSEMBLY IS TOUGH You’ll need at least 2-4 strong people to get the last curve into place
Have a team of strong helpers to get the swing assembled!!! Great product idea.... just wish it wasn’t so rough. Be careful of the knots on the outside of the circle. The rope is apparently melted to stay in place making it have very sharp tips! The rope seat is very rough- I have a round chair cushion that I use - the kids don’t really seem to mind- but can only stay on it for so long before it’s uncomfortable! All in all good product- just need a team to assemble and tough skin to deal with the rope!UPDATE**** I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 due to the prompt attention from the seller! All above still applies with the exception of my assumption- which one should NEVER ASSUME! They asked me to send pics, but they would entail taking the swing apart... and I am so NOT doing that- the assembly was plenty the first time!

BEST $60 ever spent!!
I love this swing so much, it’s added so much to my life. I hung it in my photography/art studio and it’s my new favorite thing in life. Kids and adults equally love it. For my daughter’s birthday party, we fit a maximum of 8 elementary kids on it. Super well made, it’ll easily hold 2-4 adults too. I’ve had meetings with my assistant in the swing. It’s been the best $60 ridiculous purchase of my life. Get it!

Love; Love; LOVE IT!
So far, so good. My husband put this together fairly easily, hung it on a tree branch outside and myself (200lbs) and 6yr old son has enjoyed this swing for hours swinging together and chilling outside. I thought I would be concerned with putting it together but if my unhandy husband did it himself and it is sturdy, ANYONE can do it (love the husband, no shade :-). Enjoy!

awesome while it works.
I have to follow up on this. this past weekend one of our friend's kid fell out of the swing because one of the points failed. It is at one of the eye-ring-attachments. the rope is secured by a heat-shrunk rubber/plastic but, not properly spliced. I sure hope to get a response from this company.
