1035310113XL - LS2 FF353 Rapid Solid Motorcycle Helmet 3XL Matt Black

I’ve being using an LS2 Rookie for couple years now. Thought the Rapid would be 1 up as costs slightly more. Though the Rookie has five increments to raise the visor, the rapid is only closed, half open or straight up. Also I ordered a Large but this helmet compared to my Rookie seems too tight, for example the front of my mouth touches the helmet. The Rookie seems more oval whereas the rapid seems more rounded. Also compared to the Rookie the Rapid steams up too quickly making it uncomfortable to ride when visor is closed, remember there is no incremental opening steps like the Rookie, it even slams shut when trying to hold the visor half open. I may consider a pin lock though think will continue using the Rookie and keep this helmet as a spare. Ordered black visor for it too, I wouldn’t have bothered if I had known of these problems. I guess all in all it’s a budget helmet which does what it is designed to do, though for me prefer the Rookie. Decided to get another Rookie. For the price good but in future I’d try a helmet on in store though more expensive.

It's keeps warm in winter cold, but wearing it for work gives neck pain because it's to heavy item.And when you close screen it's gets foggy in a few second so there no use of it. When you live it open, you cry while riding. When you close it you can't see. So how is this certificated as safe I don't understand. I don't feel it safe so I havr to buy something else soon

Perfect helmet for the odd ride my sons makes on the back of my bike.

Is a cheap helmet but the quality is actually really good and it is super light. Love it :))
