His To Protect!!!
Craig "Crank" Abrams, the chief of engineering of the Gypsy Moth lost his wife and he never forgave his captain Jameson for saving him. Now he was the shell of the man he was before. As they docked on La'zuun, he was informed that the city was in an uproar because someone important went missing. Turned out it was a Driadalys maiden (an elf) who'd ran away and her father wanted her back at any cost. One day while working, he found a stowaway. She was the cutest thing ever and her eyes captivated him. But he wouldn't tell the little sassy elf that.Ghwennatha Rexterraesta had secrets, that's why she ran away and hid from her father who was planning something she wasn't agreeing to. After escaping La'zuun in the Emerald Spring, she found herself as a stowaway on the Gypsy Moth a few weeks later. The first time she saw Crank she was intrigued by him while he just wanted her to go away. Which was just a farce cause he was captivated by her violet eyes and fierce attitude. She asked Captain Abrokah Jameson for asylum, the latter knew her being on his ship could lead to trouble yet he still gave her sanctuary. He assigned Crank to look after her which didn't sit well with the two who had been butting heads. The more time they spent together, the more he found himself being drawn to her in ways he never thought possible. When assassins came looking for Ghwenn, Crank shielded her. His actions confused the little spitefire.Despite their attraction to each other, he tried to stay away from her. But she wasn't making it easy. She made him feel alive again. They finally gave into their passion and it's been a rollercoaster ride ever since..Crank let go of his past and decided to move on with his new wife. They were hit with some unexpected and wonderful surprises.THE CYBORG'S STOWAWAY is the second book in Eve Langlais' GYPSY MOTH series. It was fascinating, engrossing and captivating. Another fantastic job by Eve Langlais. Things keep getting better and better with each book. 5++++****Teaser courtesy of Eve Langlais.****

Great premise but not fleshed out well
This is the second book in the Gypsy Moth series. It is a quick, simple read that is in the same style as book one. It is advertised as a possible standalone but that may be pushing it somewhat. I did not care for the repetition of exact descriptions of certain aspects to the world that the author built, which were already known from book one.It contains a couple of bad editing errors possibly from an auto correct program but that leave the reader in limbo having to figure out what was meant by a paragraph or a couple of sentences with words/phrases that make no sense. I love the concept of this story and the incredibly unique male and female lead characters. The sex scenes are brief and in the authors normal style which I find to be somewhat formulated. This installment may be a 'standalone' in the mind of the author, but without reading book 1 and 2 I'm sure book 3 would make little sense. This book did interest me enough to be motivated to read book 3, The Captain's Secret Daughter.

Tough cyborg and tricky Pixie what can possibly happen
“Crank” is hard-core. He may have once been human but with so many Cyborg parts, he is cold and keeps everything in check. Until a small stowaway gets his attention. Ghwenn is running from her father’s plan. She will not be used. She ends up on the Gypsy Moth and found by Crank. She tries to sway him but it doesn’t work. But looking into his eye she sees her destiny. You have to feel for Crank. He didn’t have all that much time with his wife before she was ripped away from him. But holding on for that long, so sad. These two are so funny. With her pushing all his buttons and him just egging her on, boy are they a pair. You just can bet the sexual tension is riding on a slow simmer and is going to boil over red hot. I do love when the “pixie” confronts him with his emotions for his then wife and what it all means. That was a slap in the face.

This story delivers
I should tell you theat Eve Langlais’ books are hit or miss for me. Thankfully, this one was a huge hit for me. A cyborg who still mourns his dead wife and a fae who stowed away to escape something far worse than just an arranged marriage. I love her snark and power and while not so much a fan of a species who believes mind control is ok, thank goodness her cyborg isn’t susceptible to mind control...so they have a chance to fall in love. I love a man, alien, shifter and any of the paranormals who aren’t man whores but find a love they can hold on to and Eve delivered this time.

The Cyborg’s Stowaway by Eve Langlais
The Cyborg’s Stowaway by Eve LanglaisSci-fi futuristic romance.Crank’s first wife died and he doesn’t want to let go of his memories. Being in charge of the stowaway, Ghwenn was not going to change his mind. But he finds himself fascinated. Many references to other series and characters but easy to follow as a standalone.Fun but lacked depth. This couple just didn’t click with me. I will read the next in the series because I do love this authors humor and wacky storytelling.

Elf princess pixilates cranky cyborg
Craig Abrams is a curmudgeon’s curmudgeon. That’s why the Gypsy Moth’s crew call him “Crank” and he”s proud to live up to the name. He’s got his reasons. Then the elf princess runs away from a King Daddy-decreed royal wedding and stows away aboard Crank’s ship. She has her reasons. The remainder of the story is infused with guilty insta-lust, hot sex, grief-induced and testosterone-fueled stubbornness, pillow talk with snark sauce, and the oddest of HEA endings - one where trickery and deceit actually prevail. And the rather standard SF romance plot may be predictable, but it’s also highly entertaining.

I stayed up so late to finish this book!
I loved this story! Although it is the second in a series, it can be read as a standalone. It is so good, smooth writing, deep characters, an interesting story and emotional depth. I loved Gwhenn's spunk and how she knew her own mind, and also everyone else's too, lol. Crank is such a sympathetic character that he deserves the shake up that she delivers. I stayed up late to finish reading it, I couldn't put it down! Yes, I am a huge Eve Langlais fan but her books are just so good. Read this one, you'll agree with me.

Wel written buf a no from me
This story just lacked subsidence..Didn't like the male lead an liked his love interest even less. She was sneaky and spoilt. How it ended so quickly I will never know.. they just get married to spit her father an he in turn is going to blow .them out of the sky..... the.end.Think the author reached her word quota an just wrapped it up without rhyme or reason

Was fluffy but ok. Didn't get anything new. Connection between mcs was not very convincing. Heroine was flat and unengaging.Meh.

What a waste of time
I've never hated a heroine so much! How can you get into a story if her arrogance irritates the reader at every turn.
