Work great in my solar-powered garage, powered by 12V. Instant-on, and plenty bright for that application. Color temperature is "cool white," and quite a contrast from 2700K incandescent bulbs.I believe reviews complaining about immediate failure are from purchasers installing in 120V AC sockets. These are low voltage bulbs and are rated for 12-24V only, even though they can physically be screwed into the same socket used for 120V AC.

I removed four 50 watt 24VDC standard household size bulbs and replaced them with the 75W equivalent 6500K bulbs. Box says 6500K on it. They use only 10 watts, are about twice as bright and turn on immediately using battery power while using 80% less energy. I'm buying more today.

What I like about this product is that for a low budget, the LED lights are quite decent. There's really nothing different than buying a more expensive LED lightbulb.

These are some very bright bulbs, they are amazing

used in a camp for reading so we didnt have to run the generator. works awesome with a car battery and a solar charger
