A great introduction but not much else...
This book is definitely for beginners. I love the in depth guide and information on modelling chocolate, there is a lot of attention to detail helping you to understand the medium and to get you confident using it. The book is let down by the poor designs and the writer's poor modelling skills. If you are new to the modelling chocolate medium this is great, you will learn a lot about how to use it and if you want to do basic designs this book is great but if you want to learn how to make models or improve your skills this really is not the book for you. It's probable that you can get all the information contained with in the book on the internet but I think this guide is a definitive one when it comes to this medium, the trouble shooting guide is a great and worth knowing as modelling chocolate is temperamental and there are a lot of variables in making it.

Easy. To follow instruction's, lovely photos an lots of them. Definitely going to try these out. The method. For making chocolate. Paste was clearly explained with step by step pictures you cant go wrong. Buy it ;)

I find that modeling in marzipan is ok, but some people do not like the taste so i wanted to explore this craft to see how versatile it isThe book is a very good introodution, plenty of pictures, easy to understand written explations and lots of ideas within the pages
