Honest Amish - Premium Beard Oil - 2 Ounce by Honest Amish

I bought it in March 2021 and waited till now to give it a review over time. I am giving it 5 stars because it had an impact within days It's my first beard oil product so this review is not about comparing the product with other brands. Beard oil is a must if you are planing to grow it any length. I tried it with different beard lengths and styles: 1- Short beard 2- Medium beard 3- short V-shaped Application: 2-3 times a day 3-5 drops Coupled with a tiny amount of Honest Amish Beard Balm Leave-in Conditioner for styling (optional) Ps After about 2 months I started to use also beard butter once at night ( that will also help with nutriment, eliminate itching, and dandruff. Pros 1- It has a reasonable price for the quality and the amount of oil. 2- It helps me to get rid of the itch and dandruff f that come because of the dry skin under the beard, previously I could not let my beard grow for a long time. ( After my trial a bear oil is a must and will make life easier ) 3- Made my beard look healthier and thicker. Cons. 1- The smell is not repulsive but not attractive to ( herbal smell), if they produced with a different scent it would be great

I’ve been this product for 8 months, it’s a really good mix of oils and I really like the product, but it states on the back of bottle that the product lasts for 12 months after opening, and unfortunately my one has started to turn and go rancid before this time. It’s a thicker oil that is good for nighttime use, that keeps my beard hydrated all night long. It’s a shame it doesn’t last longer but a good product overall. I wonder if the clear glass bottle has had an effect on how long the product lasts.

Great product, have used it before and will again

This is the best oil I have had, I have tried others from different companies, beard is so soft and skin feels great, no spots or itches with this, don't get an oily, greasy looking beard/skin unlike with other products. The scent is a woody/nutty smell, its not unpleasant, but it would be nice if there was some vanilla in there or something, however not a deal breaker for me as I will keep using along with their soap and balm as it works for me.

Bought this after reading the reviews and hype for my medium length beard. I feel this has to be washed out same day or next day after being applied as it's quite smelly and thick. Definitely not a leave in conditioner or beard oil. I would recommend if you have a good beard wash at hand and don't mind the smell.

I have tried a variety of different beard oils, but I always come back to Honest Amish premium as my "go-to". I've used it on my beard at various lengths and have always had a good experience. This oil does a great job of taming my thick beard, and also provides excellent moisture to both the hair and skin. This oil is the only one I'v tried that is able to consistently eliminate my beard flakes. The oil leaves my beard soft and supple with a nice sheen. It provides just enough hold to keep my beard from being a bushy mess, while also leaving it soft and flexible; if you are looking for a strong hold, or to sculpt the shape of your beard with a product, you will probably need to use an additional balm or butter for this purpose. The scent is mild and reminiscent of a woodshop, and I can also detect a warm nutty scent that kind of reminds me of a warm rice pilaf (in a good way). You'll enjoy the nice smell when you apply the oil, but it will not over power you, or others, as the day goes on. There is not the strong cologne type of scent that many other oils have. In my personal taste, i would prefer the smell to be a just a bit stronger, but to each their own. The bottle has an old-timey apothecary look to it, and is made of frosted glass which allows you easily see the vibrant color of the oil, and how much you have left. The bottle is topped with a glass dropper that allows you to easily control the amount of oil you use. I will say that if you take the bottle travelling, the bottle will leak slightly even with a hard twist; this is typical of every dropper-style bottle I've had, and I would recommend using a small zip-loc bag when you travel. I've had great success with this oil by putting it into my damp (not wet), warm beard as soon as I get out of the shower. I use about 10 small drops on my fingers and work it into my beard and skin, then use a boar brush and horn comb to spread the oil and style my beard; this has given me great results. I also rub my fingers through my hair and scalp, which gives my head-hair an extra bit of sheen, hold, and healthy look. I use this oil every day as described above, and the bottle usually lasts me 3-4 months, which is a great value. Overall, this is an excellent all-around beard oil for daily use.

Veel baardoliën gebruikt. Ik heb een vette huid, dus last van acne bij elke baardolie dat ik heb gebruikt. Acne is verdwenen sinds ik honest Amish baardolie gebruik.

Canadian here. My favorite since 2020 have a growing beard since 2017 i try different beard oils from amazon and i alternate everyday with 4 to 5 different beard oil and honest amish have always been on my shelf. I use it when my beard gets itchy for different reasons and it realy heal my skin faster than any other beard oil. Its Organic and the price for 2 ounce is perfect in my opinion. Quality is there
