Saw this for $16 and I thought, why not.Bought this with along with the actual Apple 30W charger and USB-C to Lightening 1 meter cable...Here is the verdict:It charges my iPhone 8 Plus just fine. Not as fast as the actual 30W Apple charger w/ the actual Apple USB-C to Lightening cable...DOES NOT CHARGE (LET ALONE FAST CHARGE) MY iPAD PRO. It doesn't charge the iPad Pro. It actually drains the battery. I had it plugged in for an hour and it didn't even move up a single percentage point (1% that's right) on the charger. I don't know if it'll damage my battery or not on the iPad Pro; it probably will if it's actually draining the battery if I use it with the charger attached...Buyer beware. Packaging was nice. That's about it. Don't ever judge a book by its cover.

I bought two of these at the end of last year for a brand new iPhone Xs and a brand new iPad Pro (both support PD) charging. The packaging is very nice. The charge block looks like something Apple would have designed, as does the included cable.As far as charging... I've had the same experience with both. About 80% of the time you plug in your phone and it charges as advertised. I don't have a meter to validate, but it doesn't look like it's charging at 30w PD speed. It's much faster than the stock USB2 block that comes with the iPhone, but not what I'd expect from a PD charger.Then there's the other 20% of the time... you plug in your phone and you get the charge indicator and... nothing. The phone says it's charging and the percentage doesn't move (unless you're using the phone at the same time, in which case the phone battery percentage slowly drops as if it's not plugged in at all.)On the iPad pro, it's more like 50/50 instead of the 80/20 I get on the phone. Deep down, I suspect the cable as I can always flip direction on the charge block (usb c) or the device side (lightning) and it will magically start charging as expected. If you happen to notice that the device isn't getting a charge the flip-the-cable trick is pretty consistent. The problem is, when you set it to charge and walk away you don't know if it's actually charging or not.

For anyone interested in this usb c charger for the iPhone 8, i conducted a charging speed test with this charger and the new iphone 8 (non plus).This usb c wall charger charges the phone pretty quickly!I will also say that this is probably the nicest packaged charger that I’ve ever had, whatever that’s worth. It is a bit on the large side, and it is quite hefty as well. The usb c power adapter build is very solidI hope this was helpful to other perspective buyers!

I bought this usb c charger to free up plugs and hopefully charge my iPhone 7.Sure enough this usb c charger charges my iPhone super fast compared to the charger included with the iPhone. I would say it charges 30-40% faster. Enough so I will check my phone and be shocked it’s already at 95%.It is made of a hard textured plastic and feels a lot like the charger included with the iPad. The usb c charger with a blue LED light is nice as it isn’t too bright and serves as a nice night light.Highly recommend this usb c wall charger to free up power outlets and charge your devices quickly.

I went to charge my IPad and it doesn’t even register that it’s plugged in. This was the first time I even used the charger. I will be returning it and suggest you buy a better one.In addition to it not being able to do its only job (charging), you have to have a separate cord to charge. You can’t use the Apple cords that you get with your devices because the outlet for the cube is a mini usb.

I tested the charging speed on my new xs max to see if this was really a fast charger, I get 1% every two minutes with this charger and 1% every 3 minutes with my apple supplied charger. I’m surprised for the price, but it actually seems to deliver the 7.5v power. Not a bad deal, I have 3 of these now.

Purchased this product as a Christmas stocking stuffer. The charger stopped working after only 2 months. The charger never actually fast charged an iPhone X as stated in the product description. Tried contacting seller about any kind of warranty on this product with no response. I do not recommend this product from this seller.
