By stating 40 lights, I thought the length would have been fairly short, and I also wrongly assumed the picture shown to likely have been 3 of this product.Because it is quite long, each light is on a clip, so think of it as long enough to clip up 40 photos and you will have a much better idea of how much wall space this actually takes! Draping a triple level of photos is achievable like the picture with only ONE purchase.I love that it is a standard usb plug to easily use with many other multi charging or smart units we have.The remote control is the cherry on top. My teenager uses this as low lighting before bedtime, and turns off her light from the top bunk bed. I love the idea of lit clothes pins on a string. there are so many uses with the holidays coming up you can pin all your holiday cards up over the mantle or pin pictures. the remote makes it easier to turn the string of lights on or off or set the string of lights to blink faster or slower. good price for with you get.
