I used this for a trip to Main. It rained and snowed a bit on the way. Everything was dry and it was easy to zip and unzip. I used extra bungee cords to ensure that it wouldn't flop around on top of the car though. It accommodated more items than I thought it could given its size. After the road trip, I folded it into its carry bag and put it in the trunk of my car. So easy! Good price too.

Excellent cargo bag. Bought for a long trip to free up trunk space and this was perfect. Came with 8 straps attached to the bag to help anchor it to my roof cage on all sides. Also came with 2 ratcheting straps to give extra support and peace of mind. The zippers are smooth and the bag has a lip that Velcro's in place over the zippers. We drove through a 3 hour downpour en-route to our destination and there wasn't a drop of moisture inside the bag. No damage to the bag itself from many hours and miles of driving. Very happy with the purchase.

Just drove 2000 miles part of which was in very heavy sustained rainfall. Had the Roof Bag loaded with zipper facing back and strapped down in a cargo basket. Very well made, very well secured, and everything inside (including the bag itself) was absolutely dry!! I am very pleased with this product and it's performance. Having a lifetime warranty on the roof bag is a nice feature that makes me confident that if I ever do have any issues they will take care of it. Thanks!!

Charlotte to Florida and back. All around the beach, and the state. No leaks, no rips, no problems! We'll be reusing this on our next trips! Suggest you use on a roof rack basket if you fill it up and your roof rack slats have a smaller gap than the size of the bag.

Put one of these on the top of our Chevy Traverse with factory roof rails and crossbars. Had to remove the rear crossbar to make the bag fit. Wife carried two 40lb rollaway suitcases from San Diego to Las Vegas without a problem. Setup is fairly quick, but I recommend a short step ladder and two people. We'll definitely be using it a lot - really great way to add a little more cargo space to the family hauler.

Though the overall capability of this storage is good and is actually waterproof and all but while during our travel from florida to chicago on a snowy night , One of the straps of the cargo carrier just came off. It was the one we have attached to the siderails of the car. Though the Carrier still hold well but coming off was not what we expected. We had to stop many a times in snow just to make sure that the carrier is all right and everything good which it was but still coming off the strap and getting torn off was unpleasant. I hope the makers look into this issue. it happened on the first trip and i havent used it since then.

Item worked perfectly for me during my travels. Installation was easy and fast. Size was big enough for all my laguages. Strapping was very tight and secured. It did not rain during the trip so I cannot say much on the rain weatherproof aspect. I personally tested it with water and it was fine.
