How to Hydroponics Paperback – August 1, 2003

I bought this book about two months ago and boy did I not realize how many things there are to know about hydroponic gardening! This book is very straight forward, easy to understand and very concise. The author covers all types of hydroponics systems from the basic wick systems to the more adventurous NFT systems. The author shows you in pictures, words, and even material lists for that matter on how to build each system individually and how to maintain it in good running order. If you are planning on building your own system then this book is a MUST! Also, even if you are going with a store bought kit you will still appreciate this book for reference, trouble shooting, tips, and an easy to understand breakdown of how your specific system works. Buy this book, it will save you money, headaches, and maybe even some of your crops! A must read for hydroponics...

Being a complete newbie to growing vegetables indoors, I found this book to be extremely helpful. I had purchased two other books on hydroponics and wish I had read this one first. It covered everything that the other two books did plus more. I love the fact that it gives plans on how to build your own system as well recipes for everything you will need as far as making your own organic fertilizer and regulating the water PH. The only thing that it was lacking on was more information on the latest LED lighting but that came after the publication date so a few Google searches supplemented that.

This is the best book I've found as far as actual plans and instructions on making simple basic hydroponic systems. It does not go into detail about feeding and light requirements for specific plants, but I found it valuable for the detailed system plans and instructions on building them, which I had not been able to find elsewhere.

If your looking to start out with Hydroponics, this is a great book for it. It takes you though the first time start up person to an experience person. The only bad thing I didn't like was the pictures are in black and white.

This book is exactly what you want if you are interested in starting hydroponic gardening. I recommend it to any beginner. It can also be a useful tool for anyone who teaches agricultural science.

My Dad loved this book, and so did my brother who happened to be visiting when the book arrived. I purchased this for my dad. One of my brothers built him the stand etc, but did not supply any directions as to how to plant and care for them. My dad loved the book

in very good condition.a very informative book for the beginner.. very well rounded in all aspects of growing.the writer is inspired which makes it a fun read.

This is a clearly written, informational book. It contains good info, but you get better info from a hydroponics store.I don't regret buying the book.
