La Compagnie de Provence - Liquid Hand Soap - Black Jasmine

I have bought three other scents of this company’s hand soaps, including another in the “brown bottle” (Version Originale) series. The soap itself is great - suitably rich, easy to lather, easy to rinse, and non-drying. However as some other reviewers have observed, the scent is disappointing. I love jasmine. I live in an area where jasmine grows abundantly; in short, I know jasmine. This isn’t jasmine....well, it’s not a jasmine scent that pleasantly envelopes you as the real flowers do. And there is no dimension to the scent that is there. Compared to their other scentsthat I know (wild rose, lavender, and a melange), this is very disappointing. Maybe they need to come out with a California jasmine....

The soap works great and I absolutely love the masculine scent. I'm a carpenter and the homeowner had it and I just had to go and get it because it worked so well and the scent.

The soap squirts very forcefully in a straight line out of the bottle and shoots all over the bathroom!!!! Not user friendly for a “luxury” soap!

This soap is best I have ever tried. Non-drying, smells luxurious. It does start to clog the dispenser which can cause it to spurt but if you cup your hand around the cleverly designed downward sloping nozzle you can block spurts before they hit you in the shirt.

My purchase of this hand soap was through Amazon and I was very impressed with how quickly this arrived. I was not disappointed and love it. I will continue to make purchase from Amazon. Also, this product was exactly as I expected it to be.Kristie

Lovely glass bottle, but very poor product. I usually purchase the Anise Patchouli scent, and this time I decided to try Black Jasmine to change it up a bit. The soap was extremely thin and watery, and was sudsy INSIDE the bottle, which indicates to me that there was water added to it. There was almost no scent. The texture was completely different than the other scent that I usually buy. I feel like it was fake or tampered with. Returned promptly.

Love the product & the bottle!

This is not the full, undiluted version of this product, which I have been using for a number of years. This has obviously been mixed with something more abrasive and, as a result, both the fragrance and physical experience of hand washing is much less enjoyable than with the real thing.

Loved the smell, loved that it didn't dry my hands out, leaving my skin soft and supple.

This product was very disappointing nothing like a similar product bought before. I believe this soap has been diluted with water. The seller has not responded to my complaint.
