This extension chord was everything I hoped it would be. I had a cabinet that I wanted to snug up as closely as possible to a wall, limited only by the thickness of the baseboard at floor level. I also wanted to plug an extension chord into an electrical outlet behind the cabinet. The Maximum Cable allowed me to do this.With a conventional extension chord (especially the heavy duty types like this one), the electrical plug and chord stick straight out from the wall, limiting how closely you can safely place furniture or appliances. With the Maximum Cable, the furniture can be placed very close to the wall. Problem #1 solved.Another great feature is that the plug rotates so that the cord can go in any direction away from the outlet. This also allows you to avoid conflicts with other plugs using multi-plug outlets, and to aim the extension chord in the direction power is needed. Problem #2 solved.I needed several lamps and appliances to connect to this same extension chord, so I connected a multi-outlet power strip that I had on hand (locating the extension power strip along the wall, behind some furniture) , and plugged the appliances into that. It would be nice if Maximum Cable made a product that included both features, or at least included a multi-outlet end like you see in many extension chords.

I am very impressed with this innovation. We have used one already and are ordering a second. My husband rewired a wall sconce with this cable and we were able to achieve (along with using a cable raceway) a very clean appearance. Thank you for developing this product. You have redesigned the standard plug and I hope it catches on because I will never want the "old-fashioned" plug ever again.

My house is over a hundred years old. Thru the changes over the years, electrical outlets ended up in weird places. There are 3 outlets blocked by the refrigerator. The main counter top is closest to one of the outlets blocked by the fridge. I couldn't fit a regular extension cord plug between the fridge and the wall. I really didn't think I would find this item: flat plug, 12" long and grounded plug. I am very happy with this. Seems very sturdy. I would like to see this in white so it's less industrial looking. 100%.

This is how all flat plug cables should be made. We wanted to plug into a covered gfi plug on our screened in porch and not have the cover sticking out and opened. This is the perfect solution.! If you need a flat plug chances are you also need to direct the cord in a particular angle and this allows you to do so. Glad I shopped until I found a solution.

Such a perfect ext cord for the coffee maker on our kitchen counter, disappearing from view, and allowing us to gain a few more inches of space otherwise taken up by the coffee maker which would have to sit forward on the counter. The fact that the low profile plug swivels to where I needed it to go let me to place my stuff on the counter where I wanted it - and not have to work around the pre-set angle of a fixed plug.

I needed a short cable so I could reposition the coffee maker just a little bit and this cable is perfect. I didn't want to add clutter by selecting a longer cable. What's really special about this cable is that the flat plug rotates so it gave me all the flexibility I needed. Really perfect! You wouldn't think that a short cable could make such a big improvement but it does.

I bought Maximm Cable 1 Foot for $7.99 from Maximm Cable on February 28, 2018, and I wish all my cables were like this. Flat and rotating plug means I can put this anywhere, and I use this in my kitchen for my toaster oven. The cable feels sturdy and I think it will last me a long time.$7.99 for one is a bit pricey, especially since you can get similar (but not flat and non-rotating) cables for a lot less. Still, I am happy with the purchase since this cable is exactly what I needed.

I used this to address an issue with the shape of my wifi modem/router electrical cord plug. If I installed the router in the comm box I was not able to shut the door due to the plug orientation and size of the adapter. I installed this, which enabled me to change the direction of the plug and everything has been working great.
