I ordered both a single caddy and a double caddy and they both look extremely sturdy and well-made. Will update after we install them in our RV and use them. UPDATE: We tried to install the smaller caddy on the wall of our RV, according to the directions provided. We couldn't get the suction cups to work at all - they just don't seem to have any "give" in them so they don't want to actually suction on to the wall. It's a smooth, clean metal surface, but we may have to try gluing them onto the wall so they hold what we need them to.

Two important points you need to know before installing:1. Make sure turn handles are completely turned counterclockwise until almost screwed out of suction cups.2. Make sure that the handles and your hands are dry before attempting install and turn them as far clockwise as possible and pushing suction cups against surface while starting. It does take some hand and wrist strength.

I reviewed one items like this (of the several of these that I purchased)... see below. Long story short: get them now!... before they're no longer available! Good buy for the money and the purpose for which you're wanting these little gadgets! ;)Super. Best option I've found yet for the money... rivals even the expensive solutions. Only thing I found disappointing is in one shipment of several items (different styles of suction shelves I ordered for two bathrooms/showers), the items were smashed together inside the shipping container and, therefore, some of the suction pads were "dented" (as they'd been pressed against the metal portions of other units, during shipping)... this prevents the suction pad from correctly and successfully adhering/suctioning to your wall. So.... I have a large shelving unit that holds tight to my shower wall by only ONE of the included/attached suction pads. Though that sucks, it's still a testament to how well these little gripping shelves and soap holders work. I'll buy more... but have noticed some I previously bought are "no longer available" ... so, get 'em while you can, folks!

This unit can be adjusted to the size of the tile in your shower. It's been installed for six months or so, and still has not lost vacuum. I did have to reset the suction units. They shipped with the mounting knobs inside the basket, and I couldn't get enough leverage to install them in that fashion, so I repositioned the suction assembly to above the basket and it worked great. These are handsome and handy, and hold the bath accessories with room to spare.

I just received these and had a little trouble getting them to stick. Here's what worked:1) Dry the surface2) The "tongue" points to the wall and I put the suction cups on the top rail3*) Turn the tighteners CCW first. The cups should be as FLAT as possible!4)Tighten CW.They're holding tight - at least for now.Update: Bought a second one,first one still holding. I found that since you're trying to create a sealed vacuum, a little mineral oil on them helps seal it.

This shelf did not hold its suction even though we followed directions carefully. We tried to place it on smooth plastic and even without anything on it, it fell.

I was skeptical about the claim of how well it adhered to a plastic shower wall. I was proven wrong. I am impressed on how well it holds big bottles of shampoo and conditioner.

Instructions do not show you where to attach the suction cups but I figured it out, bottom leg goes against wall of shower, it’s great though, puts all my shampoo bottles out of the way.
