This came within three days of ordering with FREE delivery, without Prime, well-packaged and in great condition. Pleased with seller. It is what it says on the tin (or the book's spine) - almost! Dylan Thomas's Collected Poems are those he wanted to preserve - and that is good to know. Unlike a recording artist, when you only include the songs you are proud of, those of us who are lesser poets (and let me affirm DT is one of the C20th UK 'greats' ), you can be haunted by some rambling that has been obscurely published in your past. None of that here. You like Dylan Thomas or just want to learn his breadth, this is a great value book to add to your shelves.

Everyone who loves poetry should own this book by our greatest wordsmith.

I went on holiday to West Wales and had to explain this poet to teenage grandchildren .Baffled I was.So an in depth study of the written word was called for .Grand sounding stuff but am still baffled.

Dylan Thomas is a superb poet. We read so much about his drinking that some people are put off. He was first and foremost a poet who deserves to be read and read till the spine drops off the book. Do not expect anything "easy" and so do not go gentle into that good night, but absorb, absorb.

The book is of good conditon. The pages are in a yellowish color that suits those who like old books.P.S. the notes are essays at the end of the book, not footnotes as someone like me may think it is, besides, the textual notes and publish information are much more than the interpretive notes, and not a single time you would find you have read something that has no effects at all in solving the difficult sentences you struggle with.
