This introduction to traits and adaptations is likely to appeal to elementary children. It should foster good discussions about adaptations, including how they come to be. The photos are attractive, and the information is good. One minor problem - the photo labeled "Giant anteater" is not that species. It is another South American anteater called the lessor anteater or collared anteater.
