A great resource!
As both an athlete and a mother to an athlete, I found the information was applicable and helpful for both ny 11 year old daughter and myself. I love the detailed information as well as how the recipes are broken into categories, depending on what part of your training life they would best support. It's also been a great resource to begin to teach my daughter how to fuel for athletics as well as have a healthy relationship with food. A great resource!!

Lots of good information
Lots of good information about hydration choices and timing, carbs, healthy choices, etc... However, there may be a few errors. For example, the author specifically recommends "Atlantic" salmon. It is my understanding that Atlantic salmon are farm raised and genetically modified. They have genetic material from eels to help them grow faster. In my opinion, the texture is different from natural salmon. I have read that food used for farm raised salmon contains dye in order to make them pink like natural salmon.

Your Go to resource for Race Day Fueling
I’ve been working with Coach Marni now for about 2 years. She was instrumental in preparing me for my first Ironman Race in May of 2019. Her proven nutrition and race fueling strategy’s were extremely beneficial in me successfully completing my Ironman race. This book is now my bible when it comes to training and Race Day Hydration and Fueling. I have a hard copy and the Kindle version, so that I always have it with me. If your serious about running Marathons or Triathlons, you need to read this.

Misleading Cover Title?
I was expecting this book to be about sports nutrition as it says on the cover. However, the book mainly focuses on thyroid diet plan? It was a pleasant read and I will try the recipes but I feel very misled on what I purchased. Emily Kyle is shown to be the author but on the cover it shows Marin Sumbal?

Informative!
Great book, very well written. My niece asked for a book that explained carbs, proteins, and fat (she's a gym rat) and their effects on the body. This book exceeded expectations; the explanations are clear, informative and precise. I took out a library copy and now want one for myself.

Very good for cost
This is a really good introduction book, especially for the cost. Helps you cut through a lot of the bs as is research based, for instance I like how they address both keto and low carb for athletes.
