Columbia Women's Plus Tamiami Ii Short Sleeve Shirt

My husband likes his Columbia shirts and I have long wished that I could find some for myself. Being a large woman, I was excited to find plus size women's Columbia shirts in 3X and immediately ordered one. The shirt felt wonderful and was a pleasant color, and it also fit me in girth. I would have loved this shirt, except that it was exceedingly short. It barely covered the waist of my pants (which are not low waisted) and any movement put me in danger of exposing my stomach. I am not tall (5' 6"), so I can only imagine how this would look on a tall woman. I toyed with the idea of wearing this over a long tank top, but part off its intended purpose was to be thin and cool in hot weather. I was disappointed to have to return this shirt. I can't imagine why the manufacturer would make a plus size shirt so short, as most larger women would not want to show off their midriff. My husband's Columbia shirts, in 3X big but not tall men's sizing, come far below his waist and I had assumed the women's shirts would do likewise.

Love the color! Wore it for the first time today and will update if my review changes. I didn't catch that it has pockets in the front which is not an issue for me other than the fact that the mesh tickles me! I am constantly hot and in Mississippi with the humidity it get very uncomfortable. My husband recently purchased a few of the men's versions and I like that the women's version doesn't have so many 'tactical' attachments. I agree with other reviewers that it would be nice to be able to remove the tag on the front. Other than to hang my glasses from it I don't know what it can be used for. I got a 3X because I don't like tight clothing. I wear a 22-24 and it is loose on me. Comfortable and looks very professional which I love. I'm hoping it will keep me cool as we go into summer .

I love the look of this shirt. The quality is very nice and the color is exactly as pictured; however it's smaller than the size indicated. It's cut small.

A tapered cut, but love the material, snaps instead of buttons...I would get rid of the side pockets...I won't use them for anything. Cool in the hot summers in the south.

Love this shirt...very comfortable and cool in hot weather, but it loses some of its body after the first washing

Not for super busty women. It has plastic snaps, which surprisingly don't' come undone that easily, if your really busty you might have issues however. Has an odd zipper pocket in the side. Handy for something I'm sure. I removed the Columbia logo with a sharp knife. easy to do. It looks like I work for them or something with it on. Not see through when wet except the white color. a beautiful bright pink and pale blue look nice, flattering fit to my round middle.

Gave this to my daughter as I didn't like the way it fit me. I'm too big around the middle.

I love Columbia Tamiami short sleeved shirts. They fit very well in the arms-for those of us who have larger arms. I now have this shirt in about 7 colors. It is my go to shirt most days. Very light weight and cool in warm weather. I like to wear them unbuttoned over a tank top or short sleeve shirt-they held hide bulges. They are well made and hold up to many, many washings.
