Well worth the money!
Got this as a Christmas gift from my husband, who learned long ago that if I'm crafting I'm too busy to annoy him! It's super easy to use and very effective. Not difficult or time consuming to set up. I've made mouse pads, tee shirts and aprons with it and it works perfectly every time. The timer means you don't have to watch a clock or use your cell phone timer. I absolutely love this machine! I've tested a couple of other heat presses but found that the Cricut brand name means a lot in terms of quality. It stores easily and doesn't take up much room at all. In addition, it's solidly built but not too heavy to use. If you're a crafter looking for a heat press, this is the one you want.

Size is great for XL T Shirts!
Love it! The first thing that stands out about the EasyPress 2 is its user-friendly. The compact 9x9 inch is perfect for small projects and makes it easy to store when not in use.Great for the XL T shirt designs I am making for the holidays. It features precise temperature control ranging from 350°F to 400°F, making it versatile for various materials, including cotton, polyester, and even specialty fabrics. The ability to set specific time and temperature settings for different materials ensures consistent results every time, eliminating the guesswork often associated with crafting. This comes with an insulated base stand and an automatic shut-off feature which is great for us absent minded craters.

Perfect for Crafting!
The Cricut EasyPress 2 is a must-have for any DIYer! The 9x9 size is perfect for T-shirts, tote bags, and other projects. It heats up quickly, maintains precise temperature control, and applies even pressure for professional-quality results. Super easy to use, lightweight, and way more convenient than a traditional heat press. Highly recommend!

Worked like a dream!
I was hesitant about the size of the heat press being large enough for my larger decals. I ordered the largest one and on the pumpkin (see photo), I had to press it one half of the decal at a time. But it worked beautifully! I used the 290 degree setting recommended for the thinner glitter decals but on these thicker ones, I bumped it to 300. The cupcake and hearts decals (see photo) were a thicker material but they adhered nicely. I did the front and back as it instructed. These have stayed on and adhered nicely. It heated up quickly, did not alter the color of the sequins and the final product is gorgeous! It was very safe to use with its own docking stand when not in use. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. I liked that it included a decal and bag to practice on. That was nice. As usual, a cricut product does not disappoint.

Works great!
Works great! I wanted a unit that I could easily make custom shirts for an upcoming family event. This unit was priced right and made the job quick and easy to make 20 shirts!

Love the controls
Love, Love, Love. It is so nice not having to use my regular iron. Having the option to set the temperature and the time is so nice.

Works as Intended -- USB Cable Not Included
So first things first, the reason for 4 stars: The device requires a micro-USB cable for registration and firmware updates, however it is not shipped with one. I've different types of tech, so I had a spare one that worked, but not everyone will have spare cables laying around. This might also make it difficult to initially setup if you're not using a PC.Things I really liked: It came with a sample piece of vinyl and a bag to hold the heat press in that you could practice your first bit of heat pressing. I was very nervous about potentially ruining a shirt, and when I saw that, I was very relieved because it put me more at ease having the chance to do a first press on materials they provided. I do wish that the sample vinyl came with some sort of description of what type of vinyl it was, just to make it easy should I want to purchase that same vinyl or similar at a later date.Does its job! I had to do several presses on some of the designs to get it to work, but I don't think that was the heat press's fault, just the variety of vinyl being used having to have lots of different temperatures. It handled going from 330 to 315 to 290 without any difficulty for pressing different types of vinyl. Definitely better control and reliability than I would get from a normal iron.Does need to be used in tandem with the Cricut website, at least to start, so that you can learn what temperatures to use. I love that it comes with a silicon holder, so you have somewhere to put the hot press in between pressing and while it pre-heats.

Heats up quickly
I’m very impressed with this press. You can use it for crafting, but I also used it to iron a shirt quickly. It heats up quickly and you can control the temperature with the digital controls. It also has a timer that you can use when crafting. It’s a purchase I’m very happy with.
