Need a table saw to cut
I bought his product approximately one year ago and couldn’t find any reviews that were not on the ArtisWall website. We used ArtisWall to cover a wall along our stairs. Pros: AIM strips are easy to install, planks that require no cutting are easy to install, it’s beautiful, it will come off the wall without damaging the wall. Cons: this cannot be cut with a box cutter as stated on their website and in the instructions! We ended up cutting all of ours with a hacksaw (after trying other tools and renting a saw from Lowe’s). It was time-consuming and frustrating considering all the angled cuts we had to make. We finished this project about 2 months after starting because we would do a couple cut pieces at a time. We would use this product again but hire a handyman to do the cut pieces. If you own a table saw, you would not have a problem doing this on your own. It’s unfortunate that their website is misleading regarding the installation tools necessary.

Nice accent boards. Easy to use.
Bought despite the poor ratings. Nice product. Easy to use. Looks great except for a few boards that were really blah but I put those at the bottom. I'd recommend it for an accent wall. It's quite expensive but for the most part looks great.

Not worth the money
For $279 there was only 13 little boards in a box if you read the description it should of been able to do a 20 square foot section. The amount that they sent us would only have done a 5 x5 section. Also when we got the box our name was on 1 side and another person's return label was on the other side

Artis Wall is actual real barn wood. It is quality worth the price!
We choose Artis Wall because the reclaimed wood is actual real barn wood. It is quality worth the price. We liked that it was super easy to install above our fireplace. The tracking code on the back is cool. We had a party on Saturday and many people compliment our new reclaimed wood! We are thinking of doing more Artis Wall in the basement below the bar.

Not quite as easy as advertised. Still need some basic skills
Went up easily and looks good. Cutting with a box cuter was a bit of a pipe dream but cuts very well with a jig saw.

the wood expands and contracts
Wow! At first I thought this was amazing. Followed the directions to a T. We had purchased it in November by May we could see the problem the wood expanded so much and it started to buckle, we had a complete accordion running down our wall, by June it fell of. We called the company and said this is not going to work. They insisted on me to try again using double the tape and putting new wood up. We spend another 5 hours putting it up. The only thing we did not follow this time was to leave a credit card space between the planks. I said in winter it stinks and I don't want big gaps. Well… winter came and the gapes were anywhere from 3/8th of an inch to nearly a 1/4 inc in shrinking you could see all the tape between the gaps. I called the company back the responded to me was crazy, I paid over a thousand dollars for one wall and their solution was to take down the wood and put it back up tighter, and then when summer comes take it down again and allow for expansion and reapply. We removed the wood and the tape did damage our wall. The owner will not respond to my calls. I tried to write a review on their web site, when you click the button it does not allow you to write a review, Please try. There is no way to write a review on Facebook, yelp or google What business does not have these review sites. Beware! This is a company you do not want to bye from.

Buyer Beware! Product does not work as intended and company has terrible Customer Service
We made the mistake of installing this wall in our daughter's nursery. We followed the instructions, allowing the wood to settle before installation. After about 7 months, a bunch of pieces of the Artis Wall started to bow out. One caused the some of the wall hangings to fall into my daughter's crib (thankfully she wasn't in it at the time). We reached out to Artis wall who ignored us. We had to have our designer reach out to them on our behalf . When she did they told her this is a "rare occurrence" and we needed to take down the whole wall, apply more tape and reseat the pieces, leaving a credit card space between the planks. Needless to say, having to redo a wall that cost us over a $1000 in the "spare time" I have from watching my 7 month old is less than ideal. But it was either that or scrap the project. After about a month after redoing the wall, the pieces were coming off again so .... MORE TAPE. Fast forward another 5 months and (as expected) the tape is coming off the wall again, along with the pieces. I'll admit, the wall is beautiful, but the hassle of dealing with this product coupled with the cost and the lack of customer support makes it not worth it what-so-ever. Also, I was very put off by the fact the company DOES NOT CARE at all that their product doesn't work as advertised and poses a safety hazard to my child (planks falling off the wall into her crib). They do not allow negative reviews on their website/Facebook so you cannot warn other customers.
