Perfect! Just what I needed to install a new 3-level water fountain so happy with this purchase.

Light weight. Works fine.

So far, so good. With limited use, it does what a level should. Gradations are in inches (1/8" on one side, 1/16" on the other). Measurements are accurate. The bright yellow polystyrene case is easy to see. This is the "Project" Series by Mayes from Johnson City Tennessee, which is below their Contractor, Professional, and Home Owner Series. The negative reviews I saw mentioned plastic breaking. If you're planning to use this every day and throw it into a truck or off a building, maybe you should buy a metal-encased (more expensive) model. This should work for my (careful) use.

I have 2 different styles of levels. I have a box bodied Swanson and a Beam bodied Johnson. This case holds both styles very well. It has a close but not sug fit that is actually a better fit than my old Craftsman case that has a looser fit that allows my level to rattle around a little in the case. The threads on the Cap don't have a "lock" position which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. It's good solid truck bed protection that you can't beat for the money because nobody likes working with a level that's hard to read.

This is going to come in handy with the projects we have coming up! My s.o. was very happy when it came in.

My came pretty well packed unfortunately it broke when I was setting it down.on the bench. It actually exploded after three months of abuse and drops ...worked fine to the last .I'd still buy it again.it could have been shipping stress because it had a charmed life with me and no way was it submitted to such stress as to cause it to explode , broke right in half , ragged rip right thru a vial I'll get a pic. It something to see? For the price its the best thing going. It needs TLC to to avoid stressing the plastic -vials checked after drops were right on so it's a all or nothing propeosition ....it as preciise and straight as it was on its very first day ....and the it explodes
