About the Startup Describe your product in 3 words. Sleek, Sophisticated, Satisfying How did you come up with the idea for this product? We are coffee lovers ourselves, and we've long been aware of the advantages of the single-serve coffee over other preparation methods… as Indians, noting the constant expansion of the coffee market in the country immediately put this idea in our heads: bring premium single-serve coffee to India! We're a nation that makes some of the best coffee in the world, and we made it our mission to spread our love for premium quality coffee throughout the country. What makes your product special? The care we take with each step of the process. From designing and building the machines to hand-selecting and roasting the coffees, carefully packaging the capsules and staying in touch with our customers so that they have complete faith in our ability to resolve any issues in a matter of hours rather than days... we work incredibly hard to make sure that our customers can feel the level of care, attention and love we put into our products, every day - and so far, the response has been absolutely incredible! We've successfully brought cafe-style coffee to living rooms and offices at a fraction of the cost. What has been the best part of your startup experience? The most important thing for a startup is to learn - every moment of every day, every transaction, every phone call - everything is an opportunity to learn. We're delighted that we were able to make a business out of something we love (coffee!) but we could never have imagined just how much about coffee and the market we'd learn while doing it! Talking to our customers is the best part of the job - whether it's the manager of a premium hotel chain putting our machines in suites or a struggling artist using our coffee for inspiration, every conversation we have is a learning moment for us, and it's deeply touching to hear how the product we made from scratch has impressed so many people.
