The stories are shown chronologically, and complete. There is a brief section of biographical detail at the start, then we get to the artwork itself. All the work here is clearly reproduced. There are some detailed close-up pages which are so clear that one can see the pencil-work behind the ink. These stories are easy to follow and many have a happy air of innocence and joy about them. If you already have The Art of Pleasure, this would be the perfect companion book.

Groovy set of five little books well worth buying if you like Kake. Not sure if they are all here but what are are well printed and well packed. Nice feel in your hand and have a lux feel. Top shelf stuff though so for adults only.

Cool pictures of manly macho men- always a fan of Tom's work. His mastery of the male form in various poses and rendering of black leather is awesome. Def good stuffs.

He transforms a sexual inclination into a concrete visual image. Many of them together to express a cohesive whole. It is very erotic, and I think should be erotic for just about anyone... I'm biased. Compelling, inspired, and high quality work.

It's SO nice to finally have all of the Kake comics in one volume. For me, the size of the book is perfect - easy to hold and great artwork reproduction. The overall quality is great. I have been a fan of Tom of Finland for decades and really enjoy having so much of his work coming out in comprehensive volumes like this one. I highly recommend this book to anyone who, like me, is a fan of this art genre.

this is a must for anyone that thinks that explicit sex comics can be a form of art. Tom is a genius and his drawings have an unmatched erotic load.
