Great taste, but…
I give this product 5 stars for taste and texture, although I wish it contained more flavors. However, I give it zero stars for quality control. I have received a few bags so far that contained the regular sugar version. I used to eat the sugar version, and it was definitely them. Big mistake, Jelly Belly, especially if your customer has medical issues.

Definitely a great replacement for the sugar version.
They could use a tad more flavor, but they are still pretty good. They are jelly beans. So, if your favorite candy was jelly belly jelly beans, you will like this healthier substitute.

A practice of self-control is required or else!
I bought these years ago at a local chocolate shop and the taste is so close to the real stuff that you can easily get carried away. However, they may cause embarrassing intestinal distress which happened to a man on my job for whom I bought a small bag. He said he had found out that he was diabetic and I thought it would be a nice gesture to get some for him, since he could not have chocolates like the ones I got for another person there. I assumed he had been given necessary dietary information and there was also in fine print on the bag, "may cause laxative effect". Unfortunately, I guess they were so good he did not see the warning. I did apologize and since then, I always ask a person's knowledge of an item. So, be forewarned and limit your intake.

Great option for sugar free sweet craving
I am giving this 5 stars even though they are not nearly as good as regular jelly belly’s - but that is kinda obvi For sugar free candy - it’s not their fault. The texture is also much different than regular jelly bellies but that is also to be expected and it is not unpleasant. As a sugar free option, the taste is actually quite good and would be satisfying to someone trying to eat low sugar but who still craves a sweet fruity chewy candy. I am not diabetic but am just trying to limit the amount of sugar I eat so I am trying different sugar free or low sugar options. If you are not able or not wanting to eat sugar, these are a great option for you to curb your sweet cravings and to not feel deprived of sweet treats.

Sweet Relief or Tooting Trouble? The Sugar-Free Snack That’ll Make You Rethink Snacking
Sugar is addictive, some say more addictive than cocaine. We know that it's possible to develop Type 2 diabetes as an adult. So it's natural to hit mid-life and start making lifestyle choices without completely compromising fun snacks. Sugar Free Jelly Bellies are not the answer. I'd heard that the main ingredient (seriously, it's the first two ingredients) Maltitol can make you gassy. I had read the HILARIOUS reviews of the volcano fire ass that the sugar free Haribo gummy bears gave people. I scoffed, surrounded in the bubble of my own hubris. Surely, surely I would be the exception. Nevermind that my gallbladder free body has been dealing with IBS the last several years and doesn't digest anything the way it used to. Oh no...I seem to live under the misperception that I still have the gastrointestinal strength of my 20's. I do not. The amount of gas that developed in my poor overwrought intestines could have fueled the Hindenburg. If I went to float in a lake, my bouyancy would be unparalleled. The pain was only exceeded by childbirth, and possibly the gallstones that forever changed me. All this to describe the end results, but not the flavor, which definitely left something to be desired. The flavors that I was expected were a ghost of the original. A hint of the classics, but in no way meeting expectations. The texture was...something. Waxy yet chalky texture, which in and of itself is an odd combination. Jelly Belly...you did me dirty.

A couple of hours after eating about twenty beans I had chronic stomach cramps and a very upset stomach. After looking at the ingredients I found that they are sweetened with malitol not Splenda, which is only a minor trace ingredient. Like a lot of people I react strongly to sugar alcohols, I wouldn't have bought them had I known. The taste is also compromised due to the malitol, they taste like dollar store candy.

Cost to much but good it is hard for us that have to have sugar free, and hurts the wallets.
