Even with a thorough manual selection by our workers, please understand there may be feathers with small flaws. There are some things to watch out for: 1, Molted feathers are molted for a reason. The bird needs new ones, and sheds the old feathers in a grand exuberance. It is generally in the spring or summer, and the feathers are not of the highest quality. The occasional feather from the molt is good-looking, but more often, they are rough. 2, They are not molted in huge quantities. Otherwise, the bird would be naked. If a seller is selling large numbers of “molted” feathers, we should suspect them. 3, The feathers could not, and would not, come in matching and complete sets. The birds never molt an entire matching set of perfectly beautiful feathers. That’s the whole point of a molt. You keep some, you lose some.

Bought for costume accessories. The color is bright, and the feathers don't look crushed/destroyed, which means they serve what I need from them. I'd say they're not exactly 10-12 inches though. if there IS one that's 10 inches in the pack, it'd be the longest of them. Most of them run at somewhere just around 8 and 1/2 inches. Still, for what they're being used for, that's more than enough.

The total length of plumage is less than 10 inches. I measured and they all ran 8 inches to 9.75 inches. Much smaller than I expected. They were packaged very well and were not bent.

The feathers definitely varied in fullness and they were definitely more of an off white than pure white color. However, I was still able to create what I needed to out of them, so based on that they still worked well enough.

These are so small and thin. They look nothing like the picture. Didn’t even use them.
