This book has been a great help with the motor on my boat. I am not very knowledgable about boat motors and it has helped me out a lot (especially by saving me money). I highly recommend this book to anyone who has a little mechanical knowledge and a passion for fixing things themselves.

I have only glanced through it but it looks like it covers about everything to rebuild the motor! I need it for the middle and lower sections.

there is useful information for those with older outboard motors
Many of the explanations of repair procedures are quite vague and at times confusing. The black and white pictures leave much to be desired, as well. Nevertheless, there is useful information for those with older outboard motors. I see this as more of a reference book than a repair guide.
