Highly Dissapointed
Bought this battery to replace my almost three year old Samsung that came with my S3. First the packaging was a cheap little cardboard box with a bubble wrap envelope to hold the battery. Packaging was obviously previously opened, and there were no Charging/Break in instructions. The Battery had about 63% charge when I installed it. It drained down to 5% within a few hours after installation so I gave it a complete charge to 100%. That charge drained down in about six hours. Again repeated the charging......Move forward two weeks of using this battery. I get about 30% more usage time with this battery compared to the Samsung. Frankly I see this as pretty poor considering its suppose to be a 3800mah. It compares to the Samsung when the phone was brand new. I have not gotten a full 24 hours of usage out of this battery. I was hoping that with the 3800mah I would have at least seen 36 hours before needing a charge. I am still in the window of returning this battery and try another brand. In my humble opinion this is just another knock off battery made in a factory where 30-40 percent of the faulty batteries make it through QC. Personally I would not buy this again.Edit: Well a few days have gone by since my first review. This battery is junk, plain and simple. Had it on a 2a. charge for almost six hours and it did not get past 15%. Replaced it with the Samsung and no issues charging so I know its not the charger. Sending it back for a refund. As I said in my original post this a cheap knock off from a factory that has no QC in place. I drew three x's on the original box that I am going to ship it back in. I am curious if someone gets it down the road and if they do they read this post. Final Comment: Don't waste your money on this junk battery. Run, run far and fast. Cheers.

DANGEROUS DO NOT BUY
I bought this battery for my galaxy s3 in February of 2015, and today i noticed that the battery was swollen. About a week ago I started having issues with it charging and holding a charge, then one day it got down to 4% and just suddenly died. So naturally I plugged it up and turned it back on and it was still at 4%... about two days later my phone was at 12% and just suddenly died. I did what i had done before and turned it back on and the charge had somehow dropped down to 6% when it was off... I had started to notice that the back of my phone felt like it had a sort of curve to it, and that if i sat it down on a flat surface and tried to use my swipe feature it would spin around all over the place. I thought that maybe it was just something i hadn't noticed about it before. So today my phone was at 15% and just shut off. I didn't try to plug it up and turn it back on this time I just did my best to turn the sucker back on. My phone would buzz like it was going to turn on and then do nothing. I figured that maybe the battery had just gotten to hot, seeing as galaxy s3 tend to have a over heat issue which can cause your phone to do crazy things. So i took the battery out and i noticed that it was swollen. ( Just to I am clear, I have not done anything to damage the battery as in dropping it in water or using a charger that was more then it could handle) I thought I was actually going to get a good product this time, but instead i got something cheap and defective. It was made to last a few months and work and then suddenly die. A swollen battery is dangerous, and I do not recommend buying this on any level.

Far better than the stock battery
This battery has added new life to my two year old phone. Just to give anyone who reads this and idea of what it can handle my work day starts at five thirty. At that time I start playing music from my phones SD card and that continues until about twelve and then it is an hour or two of using my phone as a Hotspot for my tablet. Then to cap the day off I use Pandora for the last three to four hours of my shift. When I get home around six I have around seventeen percent left in the battery. I put all this to say the battery works great for me. Note this review is based on my experience over a two week period at the time I'm typing this and as always others experiences may differ from my own.

This battery was great for a few months
This battery was great for a few months. Charge lasted much longer than my original battery. The battery itself did not last long though, it was purchased in April, and by late October it started getting really hot- and it swelled up, it began to hold a charge for 2-3 hours - even when just idling and would shut off if you turned on the screen for more than a minute or two. (Or used the camera or called someone.)I know it was cheap, but I would have expected it to last more than Six months.

Didn't improve the phone like I thought it would.
To be clear, this battery works. It fit perfectly in my Samsung G3, charged and powered my phone fine. But it was disappointing, in that the mAh rating of the battery led me to believe I'd see improvement over the original, 3 year old battery in my phone. It didn't. I still have to recharge the battery by 4pm daily, after charging all night. The cost was not bad and the battery did work. But it's disappointing to not get a full day's charge.

Not worth the money, but better than what I had.
Well, I like it better than my old battery that kept shorting out, for sure. Charge lasts, on average, 4x longer than the stock Samsung battery that was in my S3, however it still drains rather quickly in my opinion. When I got the phone, the battery would last me almost 2 straight days of normal use. With this battery, I get about a day, however it s better than the few hours my stock battery got me after a while. I would definitely buy this again if it were my only option, however I plan on getting a different one again soon.

Definitely worth the money!
My phone had gotten to the point where it was in the red (10% or less) by mid-afternoon. I'd have to charge it on my way home in the car. I bought this battery since I didn't want to use one that made the phone thicker, preventing me from using a standard case. I didn't know what to expect, but I was impressed by the reviews so I bought it. It was a good price too!Twenty-eight and a half hours of use after the initial overnight charge and my Samsung Galaxy S3 still has 13 percent charge. And I'm NOT using Power Save mode. I'm sold!I'm getting ready to re-order two batteries; one for my wife's S3 and one for a spare.
