This is a great starter lasso
This is a great starter lasso. I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom. She has always wanted to learn how to use one and this is the perfect ting for it. It is only 20 feet long so you can get the feel of it without the weight and length to get in the way for beginners. The rope is a good quality it is nice and strong and it looks just like it is pictured which i always appreciate. The is a good buy especially for what it cost is.

Farm Fun
WooHoo! Our granddaughter is a rootin tootin cowgirl with her pink lasso. She is busy wrangling newborn calves with Aunt Margie on our dairy farm this week!!! Actually this rope is stiff enough to actually make a slow circle and with some practice we may all learn to lasso still objects. Sherriff Callie makes it look so easy on the cartoons!

Kids love it
Got this for my nephews Cowboy themed birthday and it it worked great for them. They were lassoing people, the wooden horse, and other kids. So they enjoyed. I can't comment on how it compares to a real one, but it's a lot of fun.

Cute. Too long. A bit expensive for what it is
This was a great toy for my daughter who is turning three. She was "Sheriff Lila" like the disney junior character Sheriff Callie. The lariat itself is a bit too long and unwieldy for small children. It does work though it isn't quite heavy enough to work well with tightening the knot with a throw. I paid $14 for it which is probably not worth it. This was a difficult piece to find though so you have to do what you have to do.

Perfect for your little cowgirl or cowboy
Got this for our daughter who is obsessed with Sheriff Callie. It is super long and quite structured which is great for throwing it around. She loves it.

My five-year-old is excited about this, and it seems to be well-made. The only problem I have is that the rope is kind of permanently bent in the circular pattern it was rolled up in when it came. I am hoping over time it will loosen up

This REAL lariat was a bit long for my granddaughter, but she thinks it is amazing. I bought one for her because I had purchased one for older brother and wanted to avoid that fighting thing...... Anyway, they are both happy and I am thrilled. Good stuff.
