Explore!: Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages Review: Only pertains to Stone, Bronze and Iron ages in England - This book is somewhat interesting but it should be called The Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages in England. It only talks about when these developments came to the British Isles even though certain advancements were made much earlier in other parts of the world. Examples of excavations are all in England. Review: I like it! - If you are looking for a very very brief information on the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages this is a good buy. Again, VERY brief information. One thing I would have liked would have been a timeline chart.

For any teachers, this has been a very useful book for Guided Reading- well set out, clear photographs and high quality text. Could be used across KS2 age-range. Children have loved it!

Good book for helping your 7/8 year old along with the national KS2 curriculum but I wish it included the Celts as well.
