Pumpkin Seed Oil - Grown in Oregon …plastic bottle (plastic bottle 16 oz)

Purchased this to mix with several other oils to aid with hair shedding and growth. I'll indicate the mixture below.I've used olive oil mixed with castor with wonderful results. I read pumpkin can aid with faster rate of growth. I have noted some growth in the last two weeks, however the shine/softness is absolutely amazing.Leave in overnight or several hours (cover with a shower cap)... Shampoo with head/shoulders or selsun blue (I need to twice) and I don't condition or add in any products when blow drying. For me this has worked. Everyone is different, if you decide to every use any oils- I would always advise a patch test for a few days to see how you react to it.Oils mixed: Pumpkin, Olive, Castor, Alma- I've been reading into NEEM oil -- may add that in as well

After researching for good foods for prostate health and learning what I did about pumpkin seeds I ordered this.The packaging was bomb proof. They take pride in making sure it arrives safely.My first impression after pouring a sample straight into a glass was just as impressive. It's unfiltered and organic. It looks and smells fresh. The taste is very pumpkiny. Kind of what I was hoping for.Other people comment about the Austrian version of this. That version has been heated and cooked. It may taste different but its also lost most of its health benefits. I'm very happy with this American version.

I am totally pleased with this product. I have prostate cancer and am on a surveilance program and taking finasteride. My doctor has been promising me for years that my PSA will drop to 1, it never did. After taking this product one month before my next PSA test, it finally dropped to 1!!!!! I also noticed a remarkable increase in flow! So I will continue to oder this product.

I'm a guy with dry skin. I use this product as a pure facial moisturizer. It has worked wonders for months, no acne, no flaky dry skin, no dull looking skin, even wrinkles are far less pronounced. I highly recommend this product for this use if you are looking for a moisturizer that isn't loaded with petrochemicals.I have NOT used this for cooking... yet.

I am not affiliated with anyone and not receiving free merchandise for my reviews so here it is. This product is the real deal and awesome. I love it. I put this in my smoothies and also on my skin. I have problems with eczema and this really helped it in one day. My skin actually is healing and soft to the touch. Just wanted to put out a true review about a real and great product.

This pumpkin seed oil tastes and smells so fresh!It came packaged in a pressed cardboard wrap inside of the box so that the bottle couldn’t roll or get jarred in shipping.The oil is a beautiful dark green and is delicious! It is Not a roasted pumpkin seed oil, like the type from Austria, it is cold pressed and organic and full of great nutrients and antioxidants I’m sure.So happy Amazon carries this oil. : )

My nephew lived in Vienna for years obtaining his PhD there. He told me that pumpkin seed oil and vinegar salad dressings are the #1 most used there of all dressings. He said the flavor was substantial. So, I went to Amazon to check on obtaining some that I was certain was organic, food quality, and not rancid. I got the oil and made a vinaigrette using sherry vinegar, course Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, shallot. The dressing tasted of all ingredients OTHER THAN this oil. I was really surprised and disappointed. There was NO FLAVOR in the oil. I have a very strong palate and can often take a recipe apart based upon what flavors I taste in it. Was this a fluke? Maybe. But I will not buy this brand again in case it was no fluke. Taking oil to my Mom for her scalp condition - maybe it will give her some relief from the itching. Will update here if that is the case.

Packaged well for shipment. As mentioned in the questions, this is not pressed from Austrian hull-less pumpkin seeds. It looks more opaque and tastes more toasted to my tongue. One star removed because the EZ-cap on the beer bottle style container would be anything but easy to open or close for those with dexterity and hand strength issues. Style shouldn't get in the way of accessibility. Also the requirement for refrigeration after opening should be more prominant on the labelling.
