A phenomenal product exceptionally well designed and executed
This is a phenomenal product. I got sick of those rubber-plastic mats that you put down on the counter for working with dough (pastry, breadmaking) and bought this. It works extremely well. The surface is solid and the lips that a) form the back barrier of the work surface and b) secure the surface over the front of the counter work extremely well. What's even better is that flipping it over provides an excellent cutting-board work surface for other cooking tasks. This is exceptionally well designed AND executed. The wood material is heavy duty and provides great protection to the counter surfaces. It feels like it will last a lifetime and become a cherished hand-me-down to the next generation. I only wish I hadn't balked at the price tag and purchased it sooner. It's worth every penny and then some. [this is NOT a paid promotion / no discount received by me for this review: I'm just a regular consumer and paid full price]

Amazing Performance and Quality
Not much to preface this one with, other than mentioning that I am a very prolific chef, I usually cook a completely new recipe at least 4 times a week, so let's get straight to it. 𝙎𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚: 5/5 As any good cook knows, cooking is both an art and a science, and the tools of the trade reflect that, you see all the influencers with pretty Damascus knives and patterned edge or end grain wood cutting boards, and this board would fit right into that scene, my kitchen isn't exactly small or cheap, but the cutting board alone makes me feel more like Gordon Ramsey than anything else I've bought or used in the past few months. 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: 5/5 No other cutting board has given me nearly as pleasurable or smooth a cutting experience as this board, prior to this I've been using random cutting boards purchased at the local Ikea, nothing as expensive as this, but it is ENTIRELY worth the price, if I knew that a few months ago when I first bought it, I would've bought a bigger, fancier model, but I was originally skeptical as to exactly how much of an improvement it is over generic cutting boards. 𝙀𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜: 5/5 You'd assume that since you can't just toss this into the dishwasher like other cutting boards, it would be considerably more difficult to wash this cutting board, but you'd be surprised to find that you're wrong, it's genuinely as easy as a good rinse, a swift patting down with a paper towel (a decent quality one like Bounty) or a dry towel/rag, and leaving it out to dry for a few hours. 𝗗𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆: 4/5 While it has picked up some scratch marks from my knife, they are purely cosmetic, I ran my hand across the board right after taking the photo attached to this review and there are, somehow, NO grooves, the scratches have ZERO depth, it's purely discoloration, the board is basically as good as new, no chips, grooves, cracks, or anything, I've even dropped it once, after applying mineral oil to it, and there was no issues. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: Buy this cutting board, you won't regret it

Get it, you’ll love it!!
Beautiful cutting board, I got the 14x14 for my daughter small kitchen and she loves it. It’s a nice acacia wood, the craftsmanship is outstanding and it fits and looks amazing. She loves that it’s easy on knives, the size is big enough for all her needs.

Not a good cutting board
We’ve only had this board for a few weeks or so and there is some sort of flaking on the surface. I thought this item was solid wood and no finish on the wood. I am worried it is going into the food. I would return but it only has a 30 day return window. I would not recommend and definitely won’t purchase another product from this company.

A good board, but needs some improvements.
I decided to take a chance on the Acacia board since I've read some positive reviews about performance. However, I was a little leery of the issues that some buyers encountered in other reviews. My take is this: - Looks: it's a beautiful board, with a lot of color and character. Looks a lot more expensive than it is. Not super heavy for its size, either. - Board Construction: The board is well constructed, although mine did come with the glue issue like many other buyers, and I didn't want to chance any issues with water absorption under those glue spots. I've seen many others return these for replacements, which you certainly can do, but I'm impatient and I like projects. About 10 minutes with a power sander did the trick. I cleaned up the dust, oiled it up about 5 times and applied some beeswax mixed with mineral oil to seal it up again. The board has held up well under use, and has not split or warped or shown any sign of unusual wear. Knives do not mar any more than other hardwoods in my experience. - Feet construction: The foam pad feet are useless, and if you leave this laying on a counter with them, you're bound to have some issues with moisture collecting underneath. Again a project guy, I simply bought 6 large wooden plugs from the home improvement store (about 2 bucks), sprayed them with some polyurethane a couple of times, sanded the areas where they would go, and glued them to the bottom of the board. Problem solved. - Maintenance: as with any board, you'll want to reapply oil and/or beeswax as needed to prevent long-term damage to the board. Overall, a good board that could do with better QC on construction, and some real feet on it.

Beautiful cookware
I got this in an effort to reduce the amount of plastics that we consume. Its size provides an ample, flat working space. Rubber feet resist slipping. Fairly tough surface resists cuts. An application of mineral oil renews its appearance. Looks as nice as a piece of furniture.

Wonderfully breakable product - with service people who do NO service, dance through hoops ,then “Oh you bought through Amazon, go see them” i would give zero but you cant

After just 6 months, with reasonably careful care, the board has spontaneously developed a split/crack at one end. It's 3 inches long and runs all the way through the board.

Love the look! And it sits permanently on our counter. It came already seasoned but I still oiled it, but really didn't have too. I do after each use however. I'm very happy with it and would buy a bigger one next time. I bought another board (Wood for Chef) at the same time because my husband liked the groove in it. When it arrived, I put oil on it, and within minutes the board looked just as dry. It took me two weeks of oiling twice a day before it looked seasoned. I still haven't used it yet because I am still oiling it once a day, and will continue until it looks ready.

Use it for shaping my sourdough. Only need to oil it at 1st few use. Get better after each time!
