Trio Silken - Silicone Stoma Gel - TR1070 -(1 Tube of 60g / 2 Oz)

This is an excellent product for installing ostomy wafers for a no leak fit. clean up is easy and straightforward. Trio Silken is the best product I have found as stoma paste.

Very disappointed with this. Tried using this with typical pectin barrier base plates. I hoped this silicon gel would provide a better barrier to liquid. However, it remained a gel throughout and prevented the base from properly adhering- leaks happened within a few hours. I tried applying this to a coloplast protective sheet (slightly different material) and applying to skin then fix the baseplate to the sheet (not silicon contact to base). Same result.It might work with their silicon baseplate but failed miserably with standard supplies.I've also tried silicon barrier ring with this gel and pectin baseplate. Same failures occurred.Would not recommend.

In our never-ending quest to help keep an ileostomy pouch and wafer on our son, we gave this product a try. It was a goopy mess, there was an immediate leak and it did not do as it claimed - cure after application. We gave it try several times, hoping that one of those times would prove differently than the rest, but no. We're experienced in the ostomy world - our son has had one all his life, almost 14 years. We've tried lots of different products, none are perfect. However, some are better than others. This one failed completely. I wish I could report differently, wouldn't it be great if there were a new product on the market that actually worked? Not this time. Back to Coloplast No-Sting Paste for us....

Didn’t work as well as I had hoped

Bought this to try on challenging ostomy. Like all Ostomy accessories it works well for some and not for others. Worth a try to fill in irregular areas. Worked well on high output/ urine stomas

This is the only product that makes a good seal around my stoma and doesn't disintegrate applying as a sealant. I believe its been discontinued, but I'm going to purchase from thus seller and cross my fingers. I've tried to purchase from the Trio site and it me or ships and I am not charged. Crossing my fingers!

Tried this to help seal my ostomy. It bled out onto my stoma and caused major leakage.

I have tried everything under the sun to seal my peristoma skin in order to reduce wafer leakage, pastes, arches, and NOTHING BUT THIS HAS WORKED!!! I will not use any other product. Order the samples from the manufacturer website first to make sure it's what you'd like to be using. (Just for confirmation it works for your specific needs) Do not buy this is you are allergic to silicone, it will burn and cause blisters if you are sensitive to silicone. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PRODUCT
