Digital Media, Projection Design, and Technology for Theatre

An amazing text for those that are diving into Digital Media for live performances. At the publishing (2018) it coved many of the technology and programs for the area. I fear that portions of the text will be come obsolete as technology changes. Still, there is a wealth of important concepts and good practice theory in the text. The case studies were very enlightening to read.

This is a fabulous book!

This book covers a wealth of different areas related to the media design process. It would be especially useful for a beginning designer trying to find out more about the industry. I wish it included a bit more of an deeper dive into the professional world, but there's no way that any book can cover every aspect. As in introductory text, this is a great find!

This is the bible for anyone interested in projection or media design for live performance. It is an absolutely indispensable handbook which I wish existed at the start of my career.
