1 Corinthians (N. T. Wright for Everyone Bible Study Guides)

We use this in our Saturday Men's Bible study. NT Wright has insight and poses really good discussion questions. We will continue our study with NT Wright on whichever book we go to.

This is a Sunday morning church Bible Study - we have discussed the first 3 chapters and everyone is in agreement that the author's clarity and the fact that the study questions both biblical age and us today is very appealing. Very satisfied.

This book has interested me in continuing with other N.T. Wright studies when this one is completed. My class loves inductive studies. "I Corinthians - Bible Study Guide" has very little reading other than the scripture, with brief introductory paragraphs at the beginning of each chapter. The emphasis is on generating thoughtful discussion with penetrating questions. Highly recommend.

This is a very brief study of Corinthians with OK background provided. This is definitely an introductory book, additional background is need if your teaching or a diligent study.

Simple bible study guide written by Tom Wright. Easy to understand.

great bible study with a variety of questions that are challenging. Have changed and adapted the questions for my group a little.

Clear and easy to understand

I used this for our men's group study at the church. We wanted a biblical study, that didn't involve a great deal of " foofoo", or feelings words (I know that might sound odd, but I find a great deal of the studies out there are very much about how you feel, generally this is not how guys process questions). I have enjoyed N.T. Wright's books, so I figured we would give it a try. All the men loved the study. It was simple, and easy to follow. Wright didn't shy away from hard topics, and even added extra comments at the end of chapters to enhance your knowledge on the topic, and make you think more deeply on the subjects. The study had questions at the beginning, scripture, questions, scripture, questions, scripture then questions and a final word. Anyone could lead this study, it was that well laid out. If there was any downfall, it could use a video section to enhance the experience more, but all in all, great study. All the men came out of it with a desire to know God more, and seek Him more in their daily lives.
