Product Description Spyderco Endura 4 Lightweight Plain Edge Folding Knife – Orange The Fibreglass Reinforced Nylon (FRN) handle has Bi-Directional texturing moulded onto the handle’s surface for slip-free tactile traction. Inside the handle are dual skeletonized stainless steel liners which strengthen the knife without additional weight and double as an anchor for external and internal components to attach through generating more sturdiness and rigidity. The blade is made of VG-10 stainless steel and is a full flat-ground style with a thinner highly refined cutting edge providing a smooth cutting action. It also features a larger 13mm opening hole for easier one handed opening. Added to the blade's spine is slip resistant jimping for more control when wielding the blade. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the opening and closing action and the clip has been upgraded to a four-position pocket clip, allowing the knife to be conveniently carried on either side of the body in either the tip-up or tip-down position. Fibreglass Reinforced Nylon (FRN) Handle A tough, chemical and heat-resistant material that is extremely lightweight and versatile. An injection-moulded co-polyester reinforced with glass fibre, it is unique in that it can be made translucent or transparent and tinted with various colours. Full-flat Ground Blade A blade ground with flat bevels that extend from the centreline of the blade to the cutting edge. This grind maintains full thickness through a larger portion of the blade for increased strength. VG-10 stainless steel Sometimes known as V-Kin-10, VG-10 is a cutlery grade stainless steel produced in Japan. Due to this being produced in Japan almost all VG-10 steel knife blades are manufactured in Japan. Leaf-Shaped Blade A blade shape developed and refined by Spyderco. It is similar to a spearpoint, but not completely symmetrical, and has a more acute point and typically no swedge.
