I love this headset and its ANC!!
I have tested, owned, and currently use several different headsets models from many companies (Microsoft, Sony, Astro, SteelSeries, Sennheiser, and Beyerdynamic to name a few). I love to compare them all and I hope to one day find the perfect headset to use on all devices. All have their proās and conās. This model is no exception to both. Does this headset have the best sound, microphone, fit and feel? I wish I could answer with a simple yes or no. The truth is more complicated because everyone is different.Sound:Itās actually very good without Active Noice Cancellation (ANC) activated. It becomes just good with ANC turned on. Personally, I find the sound compression to be weird and things sound different than I am used to. Not to say this is bad, just different. That being said, the ANC is such a welcome in a active household! Similar to being on a plane. I like to be able to make out what I am listening to with some distortion, than to have no distortion and not understand the sound. If my house is always quiet, I would pick a different headset that has better sound quality for this price range. Now, if my house is aways noisy or can be at random times, I want this headset on at all times! What has better sound? Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, and SteelSeries.Active Noise Cancellation:This is my first gaming headset to feature ANC. I have seen a few in the past, but I have not heard great things. Comparing this product to non-gaming headsets with ANC, other companies like Sony and Bose seem to have much better sound isolation. Of course, if you want utilize standard game chat, you most likely will need a gaming headset. This puts this product in a unique category.Microphone:Itās very good. With probably the best of all benefits. Easy to position, holds position well, others can hear me clearly, has mic monitoring, and can be placed out of the way while still being attached when not needed. What has a better microphone? Beyerdynamic and Sennheiser. However, Sennheiserās mic does not hold its position well. Personally, I think the mic quality is equal to SteelSeries.Fit and feel:Awesome. This is a very comfortable headset if your ears fit in it and you can ignore the heavy inline controller. To me the comfort fits between Beyerdynanic and Sennheiser. If you need more ear space, you will be happier with a different company. Also, if you like to move around between games without taking off your headset, you will have to get used to the very large and heavy inline controller.Inline controller:Very nice. Designed to be easy to adjust sound settings, microphone, and lighting while being completely optional! The headset works great without being forced to turn the inline controller on. It also lasts a very acceptable 20 hours or so with two AA batteries.Other observations:The headset and accessories look great and feel very top shelve. However, when my gaming session is done, I do find myself swimming in cables!Final comments:I love this headset and I find myself using it all the time.

Big Disappointment
I have had this headset for over half a year now, and I'm sorry to report it's hot trash. It comes in nice packaging, with a binder that rivals those that new car dealerships show you to showcase new cars' features, but all of those promises quickly prove to be bells and whistles that are rusted out from the inside. First, the company raves about this special "ANC" surround sound technology, but if you turn it on, all kinds of background noise is amplified, making it sound like you're in a wind tunnel, or in the cockpit of a helicopter. The headset is advertised as being designed by aircraft engineers and using special materials to feel lightweight, but it's noticeably heavier than any other headset I've previously owned. They brag about the vents for your ears, but this headset traps heat and moisture worse than any I've ever experienced, and if you open the vent, it shuts off the main sound unit, nullifying basic things like the mute button. Speaking of that unit, it requires batteries, which is terribly inconvenient, it hangs precariously shortly from the short headphone wires, which constantly results in it being jostled if you move your headset, and any small contact with that unit causes it to reset. Also, the leather in the headset cups has already worn from regular wear & tear. I really expected so much more at such a high price tag and with so many claims about being specially designed for pro gamers.

Great product, just know that many features are battery reliant
Great headset, great sound, great micOnly issue is it gets annoying when it runs out of batteries because you cant use the digital volume control and as soon as it dies your sound will default to whatever you have on your computer which could be very loud or soft.

It's 'ok'
Owned for almost a year now. Two big complaints, ANC and batteries. I purchased because of ANC claims and at it's ok. Better then non-ANC I've tried, but as mentioned, there are certain background sounds that seems to be amplified. Which is against the whole point of ANC. I still like a wired device, but the cable management on this thing is a handful. And given all the cables, there is no option to direct power. And this thing EATS batteries. $300 for the headset, but then another few hundred a year in batteries is ridiculous. My own fault mostly for not turning off every time, but would be better if there was an auto off feature after no input signal after an hour? Overall sound is excellent and mic quality is good. But continuous eating of batteries in a wired device is a huge drawback.

AMAZING
First I will start by saying this is a BEAUTIFUL headset and you can tell the quality is amazing. Originally I had received a faulty headset and instantly returned. Within the next day someone from Victrix contacted me personally to try and get everything sorted out. They instantly sent me a new headset and were able to get everything sorted out. Not many companies that would do this for their clients. Would 1000% recommend šš½

Defective product from amazon buy from the vendor. Its actually 0 but can't put that.
I have had this product for 2 and half months and the mic died. Checked cables settings the normal things you check to make sure its not user error. all work with a different head set. the head was just defective. no damage to the wires or headset it self.Contacted amazon support and they were the most unhelpful bunch I have ever seen. Would not help me tried to charge me 60 bucks to send it back because their inventory product was defective. I bought this before through the vendor and it worked solid for 3 years. if you want it go buy it from the Vendor do not use Amazon at best they send you a bad product at worse they try and fleece you out of 60 bucks.
