Field General Blend has been designed to be a versatile, sturdy turf suited for high wear, high use irrigated sites. Field General Blend is dark green, fine textured and germinates more rapidly than other cool season grasses. To establish as a permanent turf, we recommend seeding rates of 7 to 10 LBS. Per 1,000 sq. ft. Use a 1-2-1 ratio starter fertilizer such as Southern Lawn Brand 14-20-14. Apply a cover of straw, erosion blanket, wood fiber mulch or paper mulch to prevent erosion and retain moisture. August and September are the best months for establishment.

Worth the money
Just as long as you take the necessary steps to grow a nice lawn, this product works spectacular. Nice thick, lush, green... Even though this harsh winter Pa had, great clean seed. No weeds or unwanted grass species that I can see s far.

It is a quality seed you spread seed its kind of funny with in a short time you can see grass grow it seems to take a short time over the years I have bought a lot of seed this is the 1st time in 26yrs. I don't have bear spots

Great grass seed
This grass seed germinates and grows in five days. As long as you water and use starter fertilizer. Get ready for a nice green lawn fast.
