Firstly I am listing the problems with the bottle: Returned first bottle as the cap was not fitting well, got the second one with the same problem... So you should be prepared if you go for this bottle that the capping of bottle will not work.. Either from start or may be later onOther issue is the capacity - it's 650ml & not 740ml (snap attached)3rd the water comes out really hard, so will take quite some time to fill up ur 1litre bottle.Now the positives: A very good concept which gives you piece of mind while traveling or outdoors as you don't have to watch the stock of mineral water every now & then. And most importantly, you are potentially saving about 1000 plastic bottles..

The product is good and fulfilled my expectation. During my travel trip to Dooars region of North Bengal with my family, it was the major source of drinking water. We used it to fill up several empty plastic bottles everyday. Initially after ordering it I discovered so many reviews with lower ratings and even thought of cancelling the order. But after using it for 7 days x 24 hrs x 4 persons, no illness due to Waterborne diseases. You have to follow the manual. One thing - This is an use and throw bottle, after the filter life span is over destroy it.

So the bottle has a good filter. It's the same as what you get in eureka forbes on the go bottle. It filters the usual bacteria, e. Coli, cysts but doesn't filter viruses. So if you are going anywhere where cholera is an issue. I suggest a filter with even smaller membrane. However the most annoying things about this filter are following things. 1 is the weird dolphin noise it makes as it sucks air and second is the flow rate. The filter is fine if you are drinking directly out of it. You have to suck a little hard but at least you get water out of it. But if you want to put filtered water in a tumbler for whatever reason. Like cooking or making tea/coffee. You can be assured it will take a good amount of time and energy to squeeze water out of this. Also the capacity of bottle is way to small. So you end up squeezing so much more. The plastic quality of the bottle is also very cheap so you get this plastic taste and smell every time you drink out of it. Also the filter is not replaceable so you end up throwing the whole bottle after the life of filter is finished. If you want a cheap filter that works. Go for it! Otherwise look for an alternative.

As I am health consious, unfortunately I ordered for two pieces at once. The water purification ability of the unìt could not be directly acessed; so, ignoring it, everything else is a mess with this product. As they don't have any thing to write about the product, they are thanking you for avoiding pollution from 1000 water bottles. I don't think we can use it to get even 100 bottles of water. It will be more than a lung exercise to use it as a sipper. To transfer about 200 ml of water into a tumbler, we have to struggle with the bottle for about 3 to 4 minutes. Squeeze it to collect 50 to 60 ml water. Allow it to breath and take air into it; then squeeze it once again to collect 50-60 ml water.This unit makes us realise how precious is water as we get only little by little amounts of water. You will loose peace of mind if you purchase it, beware!

quality not so great. leaks. needs to squeeze a bit. it doesnt say anywhere but water coming out has a different taste.

This bottle is perfect for daily purpose where there is problem of drinking water.Fact everyone should know about this bottle.Plastic is Good (4.5/5)I have contacted TATA team they mailed me following.Dear Trahash,We would like to inform you that the in Tata Swach Insta Sip bottle does not have a provision to change cartridge. The purification capacity of the same is upto 1000Litres. So post completion of upto 1000 litres, the cartridge will automatically stop purifying water. Hence, post usage, you may discard the bottle.RegardsTeam Tata SwachNow its your decision.

Initially It is good. At first the water was coming with a chemical odour but after washing it with Luke warm water and draining out 2-3 bottle, It was ok.Now it is working fine, Let's see how long it serves.
