Great Quality
Visited a friend in Maine who shared his Binoculars with me. I loved them. When I got home I ordered my own and have enjoyed their clarity and ease of focus ever sense. I got the yellow.

binoculars
Very nice, worth the price. The first one came in the original box but someone had returned it and it was missing pieces. Returned it for a replacement and the second one the box was not opened looked brand new but was missing pieces. So we returned it. The binoculars are wonderful but we were frustrated with the missing parts issues. We are waiting on the 3rd set hopefully it will have all the parts

Excellent quality and clarity, awkward to focus eyes individually
I bought these for marine use (sailing), but also occasional bird watching. They are excellent for the price and I'd recommend them to others for the good quality range finding, built-in lit compass, waterproof construction, and overall packaging (lens covers, neck strap, also full binocular case. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of two things: the biggest pain is the fact that focusing is done individually on each eye piece. This is a pain when you are adjusting for closer or further objects which require a re-focus. Won't get a pair of binoculars like this again, assuming there are waterproof options which integrate "both eye" focusing via a central knob, and "offset" focusing for one of the eyes for eye-to-eye differences. The second reason is that there is an air bubble in the compass which obstructs visibility of the compass angle.

Good solid binocular for the price
The binoculars are clear and have good value for the money. They are on a large size and a little heavy. They look and feel like a pair of Steiner binoculars. The package comes with 1x binoculars, 1x hi viz yellow strap, 1x case, 2x spare batteries, and a lens cloth. The binoculars have a detachable eyepieces cap and 2 attached front lens caps. The front pivot had a cap which when you remove shows the socket for mounting to a tripod. The lens are focus-free. This means that you won’t have a focus ring in the middle of the binoculars. You need to adjust individual lens to match your eyesight by looking at a distant object and focus the eye pieces one at a time until the object is in focus. Make a note on where your setting are. This can come handy later. This means sharing the binoculars can be a little tricky - especially with someone who is not familiar with how it works. The lens is bright. I can see clearly during the day time as well as at night (not night vision). The lens are clear in the middle but become a little fuzzy on the edge. The binoculars also come with built in compass and rangefinder scales. Both of them are very legible They can be lighted up at night. The compass is stable and usable - I didn’t test its accuracy. I got the with 20% coupon so with sales tax, it costs me almost $100 in 2023. IMHO. It is a good value. Rugged enough to share with others on a trip - as long as you know hot to adjust it for others. The focus free is a nice feature. Its size and weight is on a little large and heavy side. But you get a nice bright big lens in return.

Crystal clear and comfortable
Great all around. No blurring or chromatic aberration, great depth of field for close up and far away objects. The MIL dots are good, but the calculator on the lens ring really makes them super useful. Integrated compass and red light is accurate and easily visible. Everything is comfortable to hold and seems really well built. I've no doubt about the waterproof or floating ratings (although I haven't tested them...). Only gripe is that the MIL dots and compass are only on one lens, so as you bend the binocs to fit your eye width, the crosshairs rotate off horizontal, but you get used to it pretty quick.

Did not last long in my dinghy
I went into this purchase with eyes open, and this Chinese copy of a famous German brand was a reasonable price to quality trade-off. A couple of notes for others considering the same trade-off: The eye cup rubber is the first thing to fall apart. This should be expected especially if your instinct is to fold them back on themselves (for use with eyeglasses, for example). Next, it is cosmetic, but the product shots do not show a big Hooway logo text on the compass housing. I was hoping for discrete non-branded as shown. The big problem with these is the "sports auto-focus" feature, which has broken on one side, making one eye permanently out of focus. I don't use this feature (use with eyeglasses), so it being the failure point is particularly frustrating. I will not buy these again, but the famous German brand is still too expensive for use in my dinghy. I will likely opt for a pair with fewer features and fewer points of failure.

Terrific Self-focusing Binoculars
I did not know that self-focusing binoculars existed until I went on a sail. I am smitten with the binoculars, and these are affordable. Marketing-wise, binocular companies might provide their product free or at a discount to day-sailing tour companies, because sailing guests living in big-view places will be wowed.

Magnificent quality of their lenses
Binoculars with very good Reviews by Marine experts. The truth is that these are very good, they have a good weight, good definition, easy to use, they come with excellent protection to store as well as a very nice belt to carry around your neck.
