The original IEC-8000 and MW-7000C filters for these machines are no longer being imported. The CleanSweep is an OEM replacement filter cartridges that fits these machines, as well as the OS-100 (Ange). CleanSweep filters are well known substitute filters that have a history of working well with these units. The effective life of your Ionizer Filter, including the CleanSweep, is dependent on several factors including the quality of your water source, chlorine removal, and the amount of ionizer usage. Generally, ionizer filters should be changed every 6 to 12 months. Filters should be replaced every 12 months regardless of usage.
