Excellent organizer, easy to assemble
I’ve been on a board game tear for a while now and have purchased many organizers from different companies, mainly Broken Token and the now defunct Daedalus. I would place this particular version from Gaming Trunk in the top 3 of my favorites. The wood was well cut and easy to remove from the sheets. This is only the second time I’ve been able to assemble an organizer with neither wood glue nor rubber mallet and the only time I’m confident it won’t fall apart on me as a result. There were ample woodburned labels in the different bins and the stain is uniform but still allows the grain of the wood to show.As you can see from the images attached to this review, I have the base game for Terraforming Mars as well as the Prelude, Colonies, and Venus Next expansions. The organizer includes specific spaces reserved for new components added by these expansions, and there is ample space for all cards from these sets even with sleeves. I have the Hellas & Elysium expansion as well, and the only effect is that the box closes 1/4” higher than the normal, near-flush fit the organizer usually allows. There are two aspects of this unit I would especially like to call out that make this product attractive. First of all, the bins that hold the cubes have plastic covers that slide in place to keep them from going everywhere, even if the box is held vertically (obviously I mean with the box lid in place). This is refreshing compared to other organizers such as either of my copies of Gloomhaven (BT and Daedalus) which will scatter tokens all over in the game box if you tilt it more than 30 degrees. The second innovative touch is more cosmetic, but distinctive. The long bottom pieces for player cubes have perforated cuts into the wood that make it very flexible. This comes into play as the bins aren’t boxy but instead the bottom curves upward to become a sloped section; the result is a flat back, flat top (the clear plastic lid), and an arced wood forming the front and bottom of the bins. There are only two issues I have, one being that during storage three of the bins rest atop a rail frame that doesn’t include much in the way of support in the center. It doesn’t really matter much that the bins occasionally slip off because of the covered hoppers, but my OCD hurts when things don’t line up perfectly. My other issue is that the map of components could be better and the instructions are not exceedingly clear, but the images and limited number of pieces means it’s not too difficult to figure out.I recommend this product and commend the producer for their features.

Plastic overlays don't fit
First off, the color of the wood does not match the picture. The wood is much darker. So much darker in fact that it's incredibly difficult to read the writing on the wood that indicate which game pieces to store where. Also, the plastic overlays for the player pieces and credit pieces doesn't even fit in the tray! You have to jam the tray in there and it still doesn't sit right. I got the Broken Token organizer for Scythe and I wish I had gone with them for this one. This is just awful and a waste of your money!

Practical investment to organize your game
Good organizer. Also useful during game play as token organizer instead of having piles or saucers holding pieces.

I like that it is wood and not plastic
I like that it is wood and not plastic. Too bad it wasn't included within the game box to begin with.

Wonderful quality and durability
Wonderful quality and durability. My advice to you is to buy this one and not the cheaper looking alternatives out there. Remember to read the instructions before taking all the pieces out, because it can be hard to find the right pieces when you need them. If you're reading this trying to decide which one to get, you've found it.
