This is the story of the best pen I've ever used in my life. I am a tutor and have help room hours for college students, and often times students leave pens and pencils on the floor after they leave. I usually pick up pens and pencils when I see them on the floor, so I can gain a decent collection and don't have to spend money on writing utensils. I average about 2.8 writing utensils a semester. About 2 years ago, someone left this erasable pen in the room. I took it and would use it to take notes in classes. I was so amazed at how well it erased, and how fine the point is. It appears it is 0.38 mm diameter. I used it everyday for about a week and a half, and then the pen ran out of ink. I searched the local bookstores to see if they carried this pen. I could not find them anywhere. I looked online, and could not believe the prices. At the time, I could only find them in large packs, but they were close to $20 or more for several pens. I could not bring myself to make this purchase. I asked for them for christmas, but my parents chose to get me other things I had asked for. I have been carrying around the dead pen for these 2 years, so I can remember what it is called. It is Frixion Ball slim 038. I think about this pen often, and have fond memories of that week and a half where I used the pen everyday. It sits here in front of me now. I just looked online again to see if the prices have changed, and I noticed that I can buy just one pen for $3.46 on amazon with free shipping. Today is the day where I will place my order for another pen. I noticed on amazon, the review for this pen is only 3.5 stars, and I am having a hard time understanding why it is not 5 stars.

I have been a fan of FriXion for years. The most appealing feature is that erasability. If I'm making notes or if I'm writing a report, whatever I'm doing I can always go back, erase what I've written and change the structure of my sentence to match what I need it to say.

The ink cartridges that come in the small pens are too sharp. They scratch the page and the ink does not flow smoothly. These refills solve that.

I love how fine the .38 writes! I have to write very tiny for my job and these are perfect! My issue with them is, I’m going through the refills very quickly! I don’t write a great deal, pretty average, I’d say. I’m going through a refill a week!!! Not cost effective at all.

I use it in my 4 color Frixxon pen, works great. Love it. Sometimes dries out if I don't use a pen for several weeks, but I use my frixxon pens daily, so I rarely have one dry out.

These were a perfect fit for my 3 color fixion pen. The ink rolls well and has good color on both paper and on rocketbook pads.It comes with a way ball on the tip, so make sure you use it on paper for a bit to wear that off before moving to the rocketbook.

Fast arrival and quality product. Glad I ordered this multi-pack because as soon as I changed my refill, I dropped my pen and it damaged the tip, so I couldn't write with it and basically wasted a brand new refill. I have tons of backups now!
