So far one of the best sushi rolling mats out there been using this for over 6 months now for commercial use the quality is great and roles sushi amazingly and easy to use. Has lost 1 or 2 pieces off the roller but still very usable will update after another 6 months go by definitely worth the price.

Was using a standard bamboo mat for a long time and decided to take a chance on this, comparatively expensive, plastic sushi mat. I was sceptical when it arrived but gave it a try and was blown away at how well it worked. It applied much more even pressure to the entire roll, I have no problems with the nori sticking, and the clean-up is as fast and easy as removing Saran Wrap from a bamboo mat. Definitely recommend this mat, I will be replacing all the bamboo mats in my sushi store with these plastic mats.

Very practical and works well for forming and not having to use plastic to roll which is a big plus and different in a good way ! A bit bigger than typical bamboo mat and that’s ok ! Seller promptly sent a replacement which I appreciate. A bit pricy but worth it for the amount AND ease I use with it. I really like it.

It's very well made, feels like it will last quite awhile. I chose this one instead of the Hasegawa/Fuji version because the string was drilled into the plastic instead of tied together with mono filament. It seems this approach would help with the longevity of the mat. It definitely feels like a professional grade product. My only knock on it is the price. It's ridiculously expensive for what you're paying for in materials. But if I only need to buy one in my lifetime it will be worth it. I definitely recommend it as the best Makisu mat I have had owned.

I make a lot of sushi and teach sushi-making classes, and I have always used bamboo rolling mats with a bit of saran wrap (to prevent sticking). I got this one, and I won't ever need to use saran wrap again! It also can be put in the dishwasher! The price initially freaked me out, but holy cow, it is awesome. If you make a lot of sushi, I HIGHLY recommend this mat!

I was searching for a sushi mat that wouldn't have every piece of rice stick to my yummy sushi rolls. The bamboo mats definitely has issues with sticking, every sushi chef I see working uses plastic wrap between the mat and the roll. My goal is to reduce my usage of disposable plastics like plastic wrap so this plastic mat with low stickage is perfect for rolling tight clean sushi rolls! Easy to clean and reuse for feeding family and friends, 5/5 stars.

Its a bit pricy but it s s lot better than the traditional bamboo.

This is a quality product. You can tell that some thought has been put into the design and build of it to make it durable, easy to use and easy to wash. It is far superior to the cheaper options that you can find on Amazon and is definitely worth the extra money it costs.

Better than my bamboo mat and better for the environment in the long term since there's no need to cover it in plastic wrap. The mat is rigid enough to maintain its form and flexible enough to roll as well as a bamboo mat.
