The BEST peanut butter substitute out there!!
This is the absolute BEST faux peanut butter I've found. The texture and color and overall experience is very true to classic peanut butter. It has a nutty flavor. Let's be honest: nothing is going to taste like peanut butter except actual peanut butter. Even so, I find it delicious! (MUCH better than the competitors.) I have something to give my son who has a peanut and tree nut allergy. He can have that childhood experience of eating a peanut butter sandwich. And I am able to still enjoy almost-peanut butter sandwiches. Sneaky Chef No-Nut butter saved the day!For your Info: the primary ingredients are "yellow peas and canola oil." It also contains "sugar (tapioca starch), palm oil, salt, mono and diglycerides, *cocoa powder,* and natural flavors." It is made in a facility that processes soy and has a "peas (legumes)" allergy warning. This is the entire nutritional info on my packaging. So, watch out if your child has a cocoa, legume, or soy allergy. It is "non-GMO" and "free from peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten."

Gritty, runny, and tastes terrible
i used to love this product, until they changed it. It is now gritty, yet no matter how much you mix it, it is also runny. You can’t make a sandwich with it because it will run out of the bread, and you can’t use it to dip apple slices because it will drip off. Not that you would want to because it tastes terrible. Why oh why did they change the recipe???? It was such a great product, creamy and delicious and almost better than peanut butter. This is awful! Please, please, please bring back the old recipe!!!!

Great alternative
We've been buying Sneaky Chef No-Nut Butter for the past several years. My wife is allergic to peanut butter and didn't care for the sunflower or soy butter substitutes. Sneaky Chef spreads well and holds up on toast. She likes the nutritional benefits received from the pea protein. Sneaky Chef also has a chocolate spread that she says is really good too. She's not tried cooking or baking with it, so am unsure if this works. After not having peanut butter for 30 years, she says it tastes like peanut butter (but I'm not sure about that!) As an aside, our dog loves it and takes medication smeared with it almost without swallowing. We feel good about giving it to her (and we don't give her the chocolate version ever) The only concern is in the summertime occasionally the oil separates from the spread and you just have to mix it back together. No biggee. She just keeps it in the fridge instead of in the cabinet when this happens.

Not as allergy safe as we hoped
My 15 month old is dairy, egg, treenut, sesame seed and probably coconut allergic. That being said, there isn't much variety we get to enjoy. He is NOT allergic to any fruits or vegetables and we have tried peas many times with no issues. I contacted Missy ok the website and she assured me there is none of his allergens were in the product. We ordered the product and it shipped through Prime, and the container was smashed on one side. We called Amazon and got another one, and this one was totally sealed but some how leaking oil and was all greasy. We tried the sealed package anyway, and it was really good, my 3 1/2 year old who is not allergic to anything tried it on toast and didn't even know it wasn't peanut butter. Gave it to Mr. Allergic Baby and within 15 minutes he had hives on his hands, and within 30 minutes mild case of hives all over his body. Unless "natural flavoring" is what he reacted to, there was something in it that bothered him. Whether through cross contamination or unknown or unlisted ingredients. We tried it a couple times just to be sure and he reacted each time. Great taste but disappointed in leaky and damaged packaging and not as allergy safe as they believe unfortunately.

An almost perfect peanut butter alternative!
I used to buy NoNuts butter at our grocery store until they stopped carrying it, and was hunting for another golden peabutter since we loved that stuff. One of my children can't have peanuts, and while he's fine with other nut butters, I've never found any of the other nut butters we've tried to be particularly great taste-wise, or texture-wise. They have a tendency to separate, even if they're no stir. The golden peabutter took care of those issues - the taste isn't identical to peanut butter, but it's close enough, and the texture is almost identical. This one is almost as good as the NoNuts, and a very good alternative seeing as how there's no way to buy that one at the moment without spending a fortune. It's not going to fool you into thinking it's definitely peanut butter, but it's got a close enough taste that it works even for my kids who can eat peanut butter when they can't take peanut butter somewhere. The texture is just as nice as the creamy peanut butters I have bought for my children who can eat peanut butter. My only complaint? It does separate ever so slightly, though nowhere near as bad as some of the nut butters I've tried over the years. We use it pretty regularly, and the slight separation it does happens fairly quickly. A real quick stir has taken care of this issue so far. It's really the only reason I don't love it quite as much as the NoNuts brand - I never had that issue with it. Otherwise, my non-peanut eater is quite happy with it for his peabutter and jelly sandwiches, and even my peanut eaters will eat it if they aren't allowed to have peanut butter. So I'd highly recommend it if you need a peanut alternative in your house, even if your child can eat other nut butters as so far this is way better than any of the other non-peanut nut butters we've tried and a pretty good golden peabutter.

Love this stuff!
Love this brand. My son loves “non” peanut butter sandwiches and out of all the alternatives we have tried, he loves this brand the most. The texture is nice and creamy. It doesn’t have to be refrigerated (my son likes it cold with his “jelly”). It spreads well and it is pretty tasty for an adult too.Bonus: It is hard to find elsewhere, I am always thankful to find it on amazon!
