4" Wood Embroidery Hoop With Round Edges-

The first time this got shipped to me, it was missing the inner hoop. I exchanged it (for free) for another with an intact inner hoop. The outer hoop is made of 2 layers of wood, and after 3 days of use, the one of the layers splintered off. Without that layer, even if the clasp is as tight as it can go, there's so much space between the inner and outer hoop that it can't really hold any fabric tightly. Overall, it's a somewhat functional hoop, but delicate and breaks easily

It's splintering. And yes in the picture that is a hole. I should have returned it but whatever. I needed to get the project finished.

A cheap Chinese import. The hoops require sanding to remove splinters and smooth the edges before they can be used.

I don't have anything to compare these to due to my utter lack of sewing/fabric knowledge, but this is what I ordered, and it came exactly how it was advertised.

so the product itself is nice and the price is good but one of the hoops came without packaging and missing the inner hoop... I'm really disappointed because the other one is good but one is completely unusable....

The quality of this hoop is way better than I expected. It worked great for hanging a small cross stitch piece.

Not worth any money. Better to spend the extra money to purchase a Hardwicke Manor hoop which actually works really well
