Like many of you, I have had a cell phone for over a decade and in that time I have used many, many screen protectors. Some have been difficult to install straigh while others were impossible to install without getting dust between the protector and the phone screen, making for a less than perfect installation. I eventually gave up on finding a good screen protector that was easy to install and worked well.I installed this screen protector in about 3 minutes and most of that time was spent reading the directions and preparing the phone glass surface. The three step prep process is clearly illustrated and involved an alcohol clean, and clean dry, and finally a dust pick-up step. After those steps were completed, the phone glass was ready for the screen protector to be installed. The installation frame makes the application of the protector virtually fool-proof and aligned the protector to the phone on all 4 sides. All I did was lower the protector onto the phone glass and the frame did all of the alignment for me. Air bubbles were minimal and can be avoided altogether, I learned, if I had lowered the protector on more slowly. I had a bubble but I was able to lift the protector off the phone glass and reapply it slowly and there were no bubbles the second time. It even leaves a slight margin around the edges to accommodate a phone cover. Perfect. I have only had it for a few days so I can't speak to longevity, but it was easy to install, works well, and looks great! Considering there are three screen protectors (and prep kits) in the box and the price, you can't go wrong with this.

To be honest with you, I don't understand some of the reviews that are complaining that the protector doesn't cover the edges, or that the protector is covering the front camera. First of all, the protector has a notch cut-out that does not interfere with the front camera so if you have it blocking your front camera, you must have installed it upside down. Also, as far as the protector not covering the edges - these screens are slightly curved as you approach the edge and if the protector was any bigger, it would create a halo effect because the protector cannot adhere totally to a curved edge.Now, I find that it covers as much of the screen as necessary and I rather have this than an annoying halo that I can't stand. There is no halo effect. The sides almost cover the visual part of the screen - just a tad less that is unnoticeable. That is all you need and it's perfect and does not interfere with the phone. You can't possible make mistake with lining it up because of the included guide that makes the install perfect. It literally covers all of the visible screen and the notch does not interfere with the front-facing camera or any of the sensors/speaker. Sensitivity is excellent - it's almost like you don't have a protector there. I've had it now for almost a month and fits well with the Spigen Tough Armor case and it should fit just about any case out there since the protector would not hit the case at the edges. It's has proven to be durable thus far after 2 short drops and no damage at all - but the best thing is that even if there was damage, you have 2 other protectors waiting for you.At this price point of just under $9, you can't go wrong at all. This is the glass screen protector you want if you want an easy to install, no halo effect, glass protector for your XS Max. I am overwhelmingly pleased with this product.

The installation process was extremely easy. It did not take long and went on cleanly. It covered the screen perfectly and was not easily noticeable. The function of the phone was not inhibited in any way.[Original comment] In bright sunlight it was harder to see the screen with the protector on than it was without it. It also makes the screen have a very slight matte look to it. This is probably a side effect of the anti-glare feature[Update (Dec 9, 2019)] I no longer have the glare issue. I am guessing that for some reason I had one bad protector in the kit (see next comment). Given the positive reviews, I am also guessing this is not common).[Original comment] I loved it at first but after some time I noticed some cracks underneath. A couple days later it was cracked. Not sure what caused it, but the phone was not dropped or subjected to any substantial hit or pressure. I was offered a refund via an Amazon gift card for my issue. I decided not to accept it a used the remaining two screens.[Update (Oct 1, 2019)] Put the second one on my iPhone 11 Pro Max, very happy that it fit perfectly. I will update my review after a few weeks of using this one. Customer service is very good.[Update (Oct 27, 2019)] Almost one month and still working well. No scratches and hardly notice it on my phone.[Update (Dec 9, 2019)] Still looking great. I placed one on my wife's Pro 11 Max. I did notice that the template that came with this one (I bought this kit before the 11 came out) does not quite line up. Tip for installing on an 11, make sure the screen is turned on and line the top up with the edge of the screen background. If you rely solely on the template it will be about .5 mm too low. This is very easy to do so I do not think this is cause for lowering the review. In fact, I have decided to increase my rating to 5 stars.[I have left all my original comment in this review and have added updates over time as appropriate. Hopefully this does not make the review hard to read. I did this in case someone else has similar issues]In the end I am very satisfied with this product.

This screen protector is really great at repelling oil and water. Highly recommended!
