Q: Is the aeron chair sold by madison seating a real herman miller product? i have read online that herman miller has a lawsuit against madison seating.

Caveat Emptor: Before you buy anything from Madison Seating, carefully read their extensive disclaimer which flatly contradicts their "money back guarantee." There are so many restrictions in their Terms of Use that the cost of returning a defective item is prohibitive after you add up the shipping, restocking fees, etc. In our case, we purchased 6 chairs from Madison seating, 3 of which were defective. The 3 chairs all had a defective reddish pink bolt that made it difficult to assemble them. Because the chairs came that way, we thought exchanging the 3 defective chairs would be no problem since before we purchased our chairs we were guided by Madison Seating's "100% customer satisfaction guarantee" and their "30 day No-Risk, Hassle-Free return policy." As we subsequently discovered our experience in trying to return the defective chairs we received was anything but hassle-free. When we attempted to exchange the defective chairs we were immediately met with opposition by Madison seating. Very long story short, a volley of hostile communications ensued, culminating in threats of lawsuits and police interventions, etc. Speaking of lawsuits, although their Terms of Use specifies a 1-year warranty from the manufacturer directly, it actually appears that Madison has been sued by Herman Miller for making such claims.

Q: What is the difference between the size B and the highly adjustable?

Not really a difference, size B is what size chair you would choose according to height. Highly adjustable allows the user to adjust the arm position, back position etc...if you do not choose the highly adjustable the user can not adjust the position of the chair. Does not relate to the size of the chair

Q: Why does this description say "Cannot offer as New"? I prefer a new chair not used or reconditioned.

It says -Open Box- in the description, it's not technically a brand new, unopened product but it's not a "used" product as most would imagine as it's likely a model, a demo, or even it was returned because someone ordered the wrong thing and never used it.

Q: Can the arms be removed?

They can, but be ready to replace them soon at your cost. Bought this chair from Madison Seating less than a year ago and the armrests are already falling apart. MS said the warranty did not cover the issue.
