Beautiful book, brought it as a gift and was really liked.

Seems a decent enough book and I love the anecdotes. Note that the author refers to US gallons throughout, which are 20% less than those that we used in UK, Astralia NZ etc.

Jack Keller leads you through the process of combining chemistry and tasting to teach you to be a wine maker, not just a recipe follower. There are recipes in the book that will lead to fine wines. But more importantly in my opinion, this book will lead you to making your own recipes. I have a small library of wine making books and this one is now my front and center "go to" book. I have used advice on Jack Keller's web page for years and was so thrilled to see his book coming out. The book is thorough, perfectly organized, with clear and engaging writing. If you are a home wine maker or thinking about trying, and you consider the purpose to be to make your own individualized and creative wines, this book will be of tremendous value.
