Glacier Bay, Alaska 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle

I absolutely love Pomegranate Puzzles and the line of Charlie Harper designs are so amazing! Great gifts for any level puzzle fan. The angular designs work for adolescents too.

These are a great collection of colors and are a comfy fit! Roomy enough for a 3-4 year old to put on themselves.

After we did one of these Charley Harper puzzles, I ordered like 5 more! (We had time during lockdowns...) The pieces are sturdy and fit together so nicely, and the designs are challenging but lots of fun because of all the little lines and circles and bits of color that give you hints, and all the delightful little animals and plants that you only notice after you've been working on it awhile. So many times I had to tell myself, Step AWAY from the puzzle! because it was so addictive that I'd completely lose track of time!

This brand is of high quality and the artist (Charley Harper) is so creative. Love his work and am now the owner of 3 of his puzzles from Pomegranate.His designs make for a challenge and time well spent to configure. I’m a happy puzzler!

This puzzle is for those wanting a good challenge. I was a bit overwhelmed at the very similar pieces at first. I am slowly but surely working on it, and it's quite a process, but I've found an untapped determination every time I pass by it and actually look forward to the challenge. I'm actually getting passionate about it! I bought it because I love the graphics in Charley Harper's artwork, and I tire of the run-of-the-mill puzzles with kittens, flowers and landscapes. I definitely think this is a good puzzle for stimulating the mind! I'm experiencing the "one missing edge piece" syndrome right now and hoping it's just buried somewhere and not actually missing from the box. But overall I love this puzzle. It is not for the faint of heart puzzle aficionados, but I'm really looking forward to framing it once I'm done!

We really enjoyed the different creatures in the puzzle. They brought back fond memories of travel.

Bought this puzzle as a gift for my father, who greatly enjoyed another Charley Harper puzzle. He was similarly entranced, though this puzzle is not for the faint of heart, and other members of my family found it nearly too difficult. He finished it in ~2-3 days during the holidays, with basically constant attention, and I just left him gazing with awe upon the completed puzzle. It really is lovely; I'm sure I will buy him others from this set as future gifts. He says that the box colors are quite accurate and helpful in putting together the puzzle.

This beautiful puzzle was lots of fun and very challenging for me and my 90-year-old mother-in-law. We had several false starts when putting the outer edges together because some of the pieces seemed to fit in more than one place. From then on we were extremely careful to make sure each fit was the right one, and even then we had to redo several areas that had seemed right at first. We enjoyed it and felt quite proud of ourselves when we finished it in one week, but it is not for those who are impatient to get it done quickly. A lot of patience and perseverance are required.
